Announcing ...

Post by TetNak » Wed Oct 03, 2012 6:52 am

This will be the last chapter in our adventure. We will conclude with the execution or rescue of Zheng Tong. I feel that GURPS is just too difficult to keep track of.

I think at this point, I just need to stick to games I'm more passionate about to make sure they are the best games they can be.

Thanks for your RP in this game.

That's too bad. I was having great fun. But if you're finding it too much work to GM, then it's probably wise to focus on other games.

Any chance of continuing the story using another system that's easier for you?

Probably not, I don't think. I'm really trying to focus my attention elsewhere.

I'd be lying if I said I did not see that coming. But I still kinda liked it although it was losing its drift.
It's too bad because I was curious how all of this might turn out and the setting was nice.

But I can certainly understand the decision.

Well - I guess I'm not. But we won't be using GURPS anymore. Maybe a reworking of ASoIaF. Everyone here is in that game, so it wouldn't be too tough.

That would be great. As I was telling Tet in another thread, this is my favorite game right now. I like the characters. I like the adventure. I don't care that much about the system.

Do people think ASOIAF would be a good system? Basically, I think it is either that, or L5R.

I'm fine with either. They both seem like relatively straightforward, not overly complicated systems. I'd go with whichever is easier to adapt to this setting.

I personally prefer L5R because I do find the ASOIAF-stuff complicated. Not the most complicated I've ever seen mind you but it's not as simple as L5R (I think).

I would disagree, but, I think L5R might be more appropriate.
