Well I finally closed on the old house. The guy turned out to be insane. Had problems with the stuff we left behind, like the doooooors... yup the doors that go in the house, and the extra and spare parts like shingles, flooring, firewood for the fireplace... so I had to come back and haul stuff out, sitting outside of a house that isn't mine anymore waiting for the truck to come back.

No I didn't take the door, told him to toss out anything he wants that is part of the house, like doors, but I did concede to taking some scrap from the garage. I have my check, the house is no longer mine. Too bad a loony tune owns it now.

The woman who bought my old house complained that the doorbell was broken.

In the 35 years that house had been in existence, it had never had a doorbell. That afternoon my boss heard me saying to my Realtor, "you can tell her that she can see me in Hell before I put a doorbell in that place."

Ha! He already gave me the check, I never signed a damn thing about the stuff, so if he is still unhappy he can join your old lady in hell looking for me.
