Leave of Absence (Mostly)

Hello all --

I write this to inform everyone I'm taking a leave of absence from the site, including all my admin duties. All the games I'm running are already on hiatus, but this will include myself as a player as well for all but Ruins of the North, which I feel if I left now would be a very bad detriment to the game. I do not wish to wreck that game and so I'm staying on for that game only for the time being.

There's no way to know at this point if it will be permanent or just temporary. I cannot post at work because of a stead work load, and they are re-configuring the office where there's no privacy whatsoever. I'm not exactly sure what that's happening, but when it does, posting from my tablet will be impossible.

I have next to no time when I'm home, particularly right now as I fix a few things with our current house and get it ready to rent and deal with the new house, the move, etc.

Of course there's the baby which takes up 99% of my time. I will still log in from time to time but I don't want games waiting on me.

I understand. This month has been less than ideal for myself as well, although for different reasons of course. I myself am hoping that everything will realign itself in due time. On a positive note, yesterday I went to a meetup for a game of Iron Kingdoms RPG and although it was primarily for character generation purposes, I had an excellent time and hope to continue participating in live meetups in the near future.

Anyways, I sincerely hope things work out for you Tet. If you ever feel like chatting or somesuch, just send a pm my way and we can shoot the breeze if you'd like.

Shite, mate. I do hope it is not permanent because I enjoyed the games you ran and playing alongside you, though the latter was rather seldom. Anyway, if there's anything outside of gaming here you can always contact me.

Yeah, V is totally right! That was exactly what I thought when I read it (only not in english). But I totally understand. As Haya said, fingers crossed this is not permanent. We'll miss you a lot!

I"m very sorry to hear that. But I understand what work and a baby can do to your free time.

Here's hoping that work gets a bit better and you're able to slip a post in here and there.

I'm sorry to hear that Tet. The baby sounds like a joyful reason to take time away from the site, the other things less so. Thanks for sticking with the Ruins of the North game now and I hope to see you return to your other games when things get more manageable for you.
