SIGN UP NOTICE
All 2012 Players returning in 2013 must reply to this thread and say they are returning. I will update the list with "Confirmed" once you've posted.

Any new player wishing to join our league, must also post here. New players will be added as requested (first post, first join).

Important Dates

League Sign Up (post here) - June 27 to July 31

Draft - Near the end of August (tentative, we can choose specific date as we get closer).

Fantasy Football season: Sept. 5, 2013 - Sunday, December 29, 2013 (this corresponds to the entire 2013 NFL regular season).

Notices

This is a 1-player keeper league, so keepers will be locked 1 hour prior to draft time. New players should read ESPN's draft FAQ about joining keeper leagues (new teams basically get to pick 1 player before draft begins to compensate for not having keeper).

2012 players will have between August 1 (re-activation day) and August (28, tentative draft start day) to select keepers.

For new players, here's a bunch of ESPN FFL videos talking about FFL and ESPN FFL user interface and features.

If you're unfamiliar with using ESPN draft, you can join a free "mock draft" on their site to get used to the format.

Questions?

Why are we having a draft if this is a keeper league? Sorry, I've not done a keeper league before.

You only keep 1 player (per the 2012 league settings, the number of keepers can be configured/changed for this season if needed). You need to draft for rest.

Keeper League means you get to keep 1 player from last year, that's it.

I've made Shurijo the Co-League Manager so he can do most of the work but left myself on there to assist him.

Shurijo the League I believe is reactive now, I had to do that to set you up as a LM. So....

What does everyone think about draft this year? Do an offline draft like we did last year? Or try and do a live draft? The live draft has a time limit (max of 120 seconds/5 minutes). I had hoped we could turn off the time limit or increase it since we have a wide array of time zones here.

Gotcha, that makes sense.

Can you set the online draft with no time limits? That way we can take our time. That is a lot easier, as keeping track of who has been drafted / available isn't that easy via offline / but still online / draft.

When we do it in person we have a big poster board with everyone who has already been drafted, computers, and note sheets.

Unfortunately, you have to pick a time limit. I just joined a mock draft to see how it works and it's pretty nice.

The maximum time limit for live draft is 5 minutes.

I'm also going to read more to see if I can add players to the offline draft as we draft, so it should update the player lists.

We'd have to schedule a time when everyone is available. Work times probably wouldn't work.
