Congrats on V's 10-2 regular season record!
It's time for playoffs now! Good luck.
Looking ahead to next year, I want to implement keepers, but I'm unsure how many would be too many. I'll assume that some team owners won't be here, so if new team owners appear then they can have the option to take over the abandon team and then pick the keepers before 2017-18 draft date.
Do you guys think 1, 2, or 3 keepers would be best? I'm thinking 1 or 2 for next year, then if we keep it going for 17-18 season, we can increase it by 1 more to 2 or 3. (You don't need to pick your keepers until lock out date - a few days prior to next season's draft date.)
Also, any preference on more positions? I'm thinking:
1 IR
1 Defensive Player Utility
So that would give you 1 IR slot and 1 defensive player for next year. Ideas?

I'm fine with 2 keepers, and for new teams they just draft extra in a 'keeper' round. What we do in my other and it works out fine.
I haven't used IR (not even sure what that is) but I'm fine with adding more. I'd like to try my hand at PPR if you wanted to tweak.
Now I must survive 2 weeks of play off to make it to the championship

I believe "IR" is an Injured Reserve spot that we could use. I'm not sure on the mechanics of it however.

From my understanding, it's basically a "bench" position that you can 'save' one player that's listed as "IR" so you can pick up another player off the waivers to replace him until he's back to normal non-IR status.
For example, you primary QB goes into IR status for expected 3 weeks, so you put him into "IR" slot and pick up another (3rd) QB. When primary QB is off IR status, then you drop one of your QBs (to get back to 2) and move the primary back to bench/starter.

Congrats! The Tuskan Raiders defeated me. I may have only lost 3 games all year, but loosing the Championship Game is when it really counts.
Good season all had fun.
