Book 2 - Act 4: The Treasure of Mancatcher Cove

The shipping lanes of Golarion's seas and oceans are filled with fat merchant vessels laden with trade goods both mundane and exotic, as well as the pirates and freebooters who prey on them. Under the banner of their Hurricane King, these buccaneers sally forth from that archipelago of lawless pirate ports and anchorages known as the Shackles, plundering the shipping of countless countries and trade consortiums, then vanishing back into the maze of islands and reefs they call home. The nations of the Inner Sea would like nothing more than to end the pirate menace once and for all, but the eternal hurricane known as the Eye of Abendego has thus far shielded the Free Captains of the Shackles from the threat of retaliation.


In the Skull & Shackles Adventure Path, the PCs take on the role of pirates, but they must make a name for themselves in piracy, plunder, and disrepute to truly become infamous Free Captains of the Shackles.

Confident that the captain and other crew had the chieftain well in hand, Seroneth focused on the remaining concubine and struck once more with her blade.

The First Mate stays where she is, her blade crackling with power causing the water around her to bubble and boil, swinging her blade. The weapon hacks the arm of the concubine off filling her body with electricity. The poor female is slain defending her chieftain and goes belly up in the bloody water.

Leaving only the Chieftain, Rod...

Being slowed and hurt, Rod trusts his crew to take care of things. He drinks a potion, then swims away a bit.
If he is slowed: Drink CLW potion, step 5ft northwest.

If he is not slowed (it said in the post "slowed one round", which was last round):
Standard: Drink potion.
Activate Daredevil Boots
Move (sneaking)n,n,n,w (use acrobatics to evade aoo if necessary (do blind people get them?))

Rod drinks down a potion, along with some sea water, its hard to drink underwater after all. Clicking his heels together he swings up to near Meri, blades out, ready to defend the Mermaid, but clear from her line of sight on the Chieftain.

Meri is lined up, the blind Chieftain is right there, and she charges up the rod and fires off her lightning bolt through it into the water and through the Chieftain. He's electrocuted through and through screaming as he dies a terrible death as every nerve in her body explodes.

That is the end of that. The chieftain dead, his concubines dead, anyone else left that catches wind of his demise flees. You have, at last, cleared out the Sahugain caverns here at Mancatcher Cove. Now its time to loot and find that fabled treasure.

Xie let's go a sigh of relief, seeing the chieftain finally collapsing in a heap, "Oh that was an ordeal and a half." He says to no one in particular. Without hesitation Xie moves to loot the bodies and search the room.

Take 20 on Perception for 30 to search the room. I'll cast light if necessary to look in all the corners and crevices.

"Indeed. By Besmara's bottom, that was well done!" Rod takes a moment to dust off the coral stuff hanging on him and then joins the search. "If we do not find anything grand here, I fear we must try the place where we need to dig." He pauses. "I wonder where the other party went. The one from the Banshee...I hope they're ok."
Does anyone have healing left?
