Helion begins to inspect the beast, it is part crab, part spider, but has a long tongue like appendage that it can 'fish' with from its mouth. You managed to avoid it ever using it to grab and strangle any of you luckily. Then he spots something tied to its leg as Fletcher joins him. A small leather pouch is tied tightly to one of the cave fisher's legs. Cutting it off the creature Helion opens it to find inside a dozen polished rocks, a few dozen tinyteeth, and lo and behold the matching Bracer of Armor for the one that the Mite King was wearing as a crown -- clearly the mate of the one you have!

Zeevan moves to the 'secret' door that is cracked open, and inspects it, its not trapped or locked, and looks like it has come open and loose from decades of neglect. In fact the whole chamber appears to be on the verge of collapse as the magic that once preserved the construction is finally starting to fade. He pushes the door open to reveal a narrow natural looking passage beyond.
The rocks and teeth are worthless.

Its the other Bracer of Armor, with the set now complete they work together.

You also can guess at what the Mite King was trying to pantomime before. He wanted you to go kill the spider thing to get the matching bracer to his crown -- but instead Fletcher killed him :)
The Secret Door and passage is Southwest of the Statue.

"Ha! Look at that! It turns out we did the late mite king a favor after all. Now both parts of his dead body can have its own crown. Too bad only one of them has a head, but that is just a detail, right? Who wants it?"
After a few seconds he looks back to the dead creature, "I wonder who tied this to its leg."

"I don't know. It is possible we may find out." Oloven slowly moves into the secret passage, shield held high.

Zeevan eases through the doorway, heading forward to explore the new area. He draws one of his blades, just in case.

Fletcher takes up the rear position and follows the group through the secret passage. As he does so, wondering if the Mites themselves perhaps tied the bag to the creature and possibly used it as a mount. He muses what a dangerous endeavor if in fact that was the case.

I'm going to fill you in on the story here because its fun, but none of this is IC.

The Mite King was quite mad, and had terrible short term memory and was always forgetting things. Clicklylegs, the Cave Fisher, was his favorite pet. It was he that put the bag and 'crown #2' on Clicklylegs for safe keeping. But being forgetful he started to ignore the Cave Fisher and eventually it wandered off. The King was trying to get you to go find Clicklylegs and his crown as he finally remembered about it. Of course you ended up killing him instead. Now had you recovered the Bracer and brought it back he would have forgotten he sent you on the mission and was going to try and kill you anyhow!

The Mites generally ignore and avoid their mad king, not really even considering him their king because he was pretty insane.
Zeevan slips into the passage first, and after him is Oloven, then Helion who has to dismount in the short passage, with Shakti and Fletcher in the rear. The passage is narrow, natural like passage, far too small for the giants of the Span to ever have used and you guess it must have been used by the elves, like the woman in the statue. It sweeps around to the back of another secret door which Zeevan checks and opens revealing, with Oloven's magical light, another chamber.

Ancient shelves hold only dust of whatever foodstuff were once stored here. In the alcoves to the south, iron hooks for hanging meats dangle from the ceiling. A door leads out of the chamber on the east wall.

A handful of figures stand at attention around the chamber. It takes you a moment to realize they aren't just any sort of figures but are dust covered skeletons. As Zeevan steps into the chamber they turn on you with typical undead murderous intent!

Zeevan, first in line, reacts instantly...

Zeevan tries to back up, and runs into a long line of allies. Well, nobody said this job was going to be easy. He jukes to his left, tumbling to try to avoid the blades of the monsters surrounding him. He needs to get to a corner, to limit how many can attack him at one time. He draws his second blade on the move, holding it at the ready.
OK ... my goal is to not be flanked. Standard Action - Full Defense. Move Action - Acrobatics check to avoid AOO, move 2 North. Draw my second blade as part of the movement.

Round 1 Zeevan 26, Skeletons 23, Fletcher 22, Helion 7 Shakti 17,Oloven 12
Zeevan tries to back up, but there is no place to go, so he dives north to get into the corner of the room so he can't get flanked. His second blade springs into his hand as he tumbles under the reach of the skeletons.

The undead then move. They arn't armed, just with foul bony nails and claws. Three of them swarm around Zeevan who has his back to the wall. Its not a great position, he's attacked on three sides but manages to avoid most of the slicing hands. One skeleton grazes the man with a claw ripping his sleeve and scratching his flesh.

Another moves to shut Oloven in, leaping at the flat footed cleric and banging its fist against his armor to no effect. The others, sort of stand there unable to do much.

The Grey Company...
Zeevan: Full Defense, Move/Draw
Skeletons: 1,2,3 (Move) Attack Zeevan: 9 Miss, "20" (Cirt: 4) Normal Hit for 3, 19 Miss, "1" Fumble
#5 Move, Attack Oloven: 12 vs FF: 23 Miss
#4,#6: 5ft nothing much else

Remember that Zeevan went first, so they were still Flat Footed, and no AoO while Flat Footed so I didn't bother with your Acro roll.

Remember you CAN freely move through allied spaces, you and Acrobatics through enemy spaces.

Oloven raises his shield and the symbol on it, commanding the undead a bright white light shines out of his shield into the room and shatters the skeletons to the last one. They burst into dust as if hit by a powerful sonic burst each one exploding into oblivion. Poor Zeevan is covered in dust like some clumbsy baker, but when the dust settles all the skeletons are destroyed.
