Yeah that's what I was thinking too. Not sure what organization would work. I'll give it some thought. From my background no Dragonmarked house would be an obvious choice however.

Really if you think about it any of them could have screwed you over. Peraps one drove your parents inot poverty, or sent a loved one to a prison for some slight, etc. They have major power, so it works easily.

Well the house don't really have a standing in Draguun, except for D'Orien I think, so it would have had to been something that happened later likely during his time as a soldier...

Maybe Deneith? They have mercenaries, they could've committed atrocities that you saw while you were a soldier?

Coming from Darguun he wouldn't be the type bemoaning warcrimes... I'll try to come up with something reasonable asap. But I'm back working and still kind of sick so we'll see!

Could also be Thrask, they come in displace your family or do some crap to you inorder to gather dragonshards, perhaps screwing you out of thousands of gold pieces, etc.

So many easy options in Eberron with all the politics.

We will finally start posting to your own forum soon.

You can expect the game to start proper like soon, I'm hoping in a day or so, maybe even after this post.

Any comments or questions so far? I'd like to hear some feedback on what you thought of the intro stuff so far, what you are looking forward too.

Can we just assume Gred speaks with a stereotypical dwarf accent? I'm going to forget to type his speech mannerisms at some point, and it's probably easier to read, heh.

Im not sure there is a setotypical dwarf accent in eberron. They are more based on nationallity then race, unless you are from the mror holds.
