The trio raced through the woods to join a battle in progress with a broken caravan and slaughtered men. Orcs and goblins were at work, and after a quick fight they were slain and dispatched. Among those facing the Yrch were three well know folk, Aerth, Borir and Pipkin along with a fourth unknown, Rathar the Wood-goer.
The company has begun to share its introduction, with tensions high between dwarf and elf prince.
Yet as Borir and Legolas banter back and forth everyone's speech comes to a halt. For the Lady Irieme, and her two guards, arrive. Behind them loaded with gear is Tom Lumpyface of Bree.
The Lady Ireme is a radiant beacon of light and sorrow. She is one of the Noldor who sat in Tuna in Valinor and was witness to the Simarils of Feanor. She is starlight on two feet, splendor that breaks all tension and anger among the dwarf and elf prince for the moment. Thousands of years old, she spoke with Manwë and Varda and sat in the light of the Two Trees Telperion and Laurelin. All bickering ends, all conversation stops as all eyes turn on the beauty and the melancholy that is Lady Ireme.
She speaks, her voice filled with far away wonder, and a sorrow for the fading world. "Aaye vedui' il'er." She gazes through you, far away, but her eyes met your and then dift on to the West.
Legolas is the first to react, he turns and bows once more, "Lady Ireme, we have cleared the way and have encountered Varuthil's companions that she spoke of."
