Not that I'm complaining really, but we should all keep in mind this is PbP. Maybe getting more is better, since the game takes so god awful long. We realize that maybe we shouldn't have more treasure from what we've accomplished, but in a RL/Vtt game we'd have accomplished 20x as much in the same amount of time.

We don't need more NPCs to award us treasure.

We DO need more hordes! (that is, hordes as defined in the Rivendell book...with real Treasure, like Precious Objects, or Wondrous Items, and Famous Weapons/Armor...) :-) (Finding Precious Objects nets WAY more Treasure anyway, usually between 10 - 120T per object)

My apologies. You write down stuff for us so frequently in your games, I guess I took it for granted that you would. I will try to be more mindful. I don't think I invested in the Easterly Inn, because I couldn't see Varuthil wanting to get involved in a business. So should I have some extra treasure? If it's too confusing to sort out, don't worry about. Treasure doesn't seem nearly as important in this game as in D&D and its variants--something I like about this game.

I don't think treasure is important normally, except when in the Fellowship phase you need it to do something. If you have none, why would you ever do it (like Compete on the Field of Heroes). It seems much easier to do something else instead that doesn't require treasure.

Well, outside of the Fellowship Phase, Standing does impact Encounters. But mostly of course, if we decide we want to rally the Dwarves to rebuild Moria, Borir better have a high Standing to get that kind of support! (Or for something else really fun; if we want lots of NPCs and NPCs resources behind it, then Standing would be needed).

Since it doesn't seem to do me any good to go to Woodland Hall, I guess I'll just go to the inn with Borir.

Another idea for you: you could make Radagast or Beorn a Patron. The benefits of having a Patron are not outlined mechanically, but there certainly would be benefits story-wise and perhaps mechanically at times.

Beorn has made himself available after your recent stuff to be a patron but Radagast already is!
