I'm still working on my undertaking. Any advice?

You could try to heal corruption. (If you have any Shadow points)
Choose Craft or Song; since the Inn is a Sanctuary, you get to roll twice. Remove 2 points of Shadow on Success (TN14), 3 on Great, 4 on extra (I /think/)

You could Guard the Old Ford (that wouldn't be at the Inn the whole time, but it could be fun):
Gain a variety of neat things from good treasure to advancement points, to possibly earning someone like Gandalf as a patron. (Or you could lose Endurance on an Eye!)

You could make Beorn a Patron.

I might guard the old ford then.

Yeah, if you weren't planning on staying with the Woodmen, you could guard the ford as a way to make Beorn a patron (if V allows and if that fits your desire ICly). OOC there could be good benefits to having him watching over one of our group in the long run.

Maybe, I like to stockpile ;)
One of these days Aerth will go from a middling Woodman to a Sexy Beast - beautiful and terrible as the Morning and the Night! Fair as the Sea and the Sun and the Snow upon the Mountain! Dreadful as the Storm and the Lightning! Stronger than the foundations of the earth. All shall love him and despair!

I think probably Aerth's long term goal is to get Celeborn to leave Middle Earth, and then get Galadriel's attention.

Isn't his background (which we don't know IC) being half-elf?

So clearly there was something going on already...
