Re: Book 6: Act 2 - OOC Information
I am playing Gerwald, a Beorning. He is in his mid 30's, tall and rugged appearing. When he was a younger man, he had been known as a jolly fellow who knew know enemy, was quick with a joke or story, and had a love of life in outdoors. He changed forever one day when a party of orcs from the Misty Mountains raided his village and killed his wife and young son. He had been out hunting the night the attack occurred, returning to find all he valued in the world lost. Since that time, he has grown more somber and closed off from others. He has a hatred of orcs. Much of the sparkle that once was in his eyes has faded and he tends to view the world with suspicion. Still though, at times his old self shines through his personal darkness and for a moment, he seems almost to forget his grief.
Gerwald met Glirion several years back and has come to regard the elf as a friend. The two often travel together, Gerwald having given up any thought of a normal life. His loss has made him restless and he often travels for months at a time, never calling any place home.

Welcome to the game. Your character's history sounds similar to Varuthil's.

Wow, I guess it does. Didn't read her backstory until you said so. Well, they may have a bond or at least an understanding of one another.Muskrat wrote:Welcome to the game. Your character's history sounds similar to Varuthil's.

Similar to Borir's story as well - he lost his younger brother and father to orcs when Borir was a youngling (30)

To be fair, who hasn't lost a family member to orcs in Wilderland?
Wbw, go ahead and update this thread. If we hear from Rue we can get you both into the game once the group hits the wilds, if we don't hear from her, we'll still do that.

Re: Book 6: Act 2 - OOC Information
New guys, you can have 1 Free Sanctuary and Patron, but you have to make it all the same.
I suggest maybe Beorn and his Hall?
I'm also going to just figure out what the Fellowship's Eye Awareness, Fellowship Pool, and Company Roles are now. So you guys can work that out ahead of time. If Rue shows up I'll add her to my calculations, but for the moment she's not part of my math.
I'm also removing Beren (ThatGuy) from the game. He hasn't posted in ages.

Re: Book 6: Act 2 - OOC Information
Company Roles
Guide - Borir
Scout -
Huntsman - Varuthil
Look-out Man - Finn
Fellowship Points: 5
Eye Awareness:
Men: Gerwald, Finn = 2
Dwarf: Borir = 1
Silvan Elf: Varuthil, Glirion = 2
Total: = 5
Fellowship Focus:
I assume Gilrion and Gerwald are each other's Fellowship Focus to start this time around.
So that means PC (-> Fellowship Focus)
Glirion ->Gerwald
Gerwald ->Glirion
Borir -> BLANK
Finn -> Varuthil
Varuthil -> Finn
