Newbies are fearful

I thought that exactly! It fits Hugo's background as well. Though not a newb, his adventuring to this point has been spiders and brigands, not screamig Dunedain wraiths! Well written reveal too, ghastly light expanding into form!

It's fun how rolling dice forces us to adapt to the story and be creative in describing failure (or success). Arguably failure can be more interesting, though it can be fatal, so you hope for not too much... But sometimes the dice play along nicely and do something that makes perfect sense, like this. :-)

Map images don't show in Firefox?

Post by LottieK » Wed Nov 14, 2018 10:06 pm

The map images aren't visible in my Firefox (ubuntu 18.04), but they work in Chromium ok?

I have my Firefox configured to block most nasty things like trackers, third party cookies, and so on, and i use uMatrix for even more control over invasive web pages, but even with all that turned off Firefox still just displays a small 'Image' icon instead of the map?

I like the maps and other images, so if I can't get it working I'll have to swap to Chromium for DiceFellowship stuff.

I'm guessing the map images aren't showing because they are http links, not https links. I think.

Okay I'll try and remember to use https, there might be a setting you can do to 'show mixed media' or something like that, some browswers offer that option but I'll just try and use https.

Hello all, sorry for the delayed/lack of response. I started up grad school and got sucked into it. I'll get a better grip on time/workload and be sure to take a more active part in the story here.

Thanks for the heads up! The fact that you let us know is a lot more than the majority of players who come and go. It's really great to have added Hugo (and Perrie) in the game.
