Not a problem, like BB said, thanks for the heads up. As long as you can let me know when you are going to be too busy, or away, its fine, I can NPC you without worry. Good luck with the work load, I recently have been way more busy at work so my own time has slacked off.

I have a PhD so I know a bit about how time-consuming grad school can be. It can be a good idea to schedule in downtime for yourself. There's always more work to do and if you don't make a point of setting aside time to rest and do things you enjoy, they can easily slip by the wayside.

I'm a little unclear. Did the goblins go into the cave the Lurker came out of? Do we have to go into that cave if we want to follow the goblins? Or did the goblins head elsewhere, so we can try to leave the Lurker well enough alone?

Due to the narrow valley and the twisting terrain you can't be sure where the goblins went exactly. Clearly they lead you into a trap here... weather this thing is actually on their side or not you can't be 100% sure

Well, I'd be open to playing through Ruins of the North, though it would be fun to convert to 2nd edition rules. That might not be feasible. I may play if we have most everyone else.

I have the 2E rules and would be happy to give them a try, though I suspect Vardaen may not have the time to convert things over. And the 1E rules are quite good.

Most of the 2e changes would be behind the scenes though. Rolls would be done the same way, we would just have to give our TN. Journeys would be the biggest change. We would need to convert our characters though
