Hartley would prefer to to camp near Annon Amrun and then look for a boat to take them across the river in the morning. Then they can at least cook up the fish.

Guys, three of us just posted our positions (what we want to do), but lets actually look at our interests. That can help you decide V, where you want to go:

Telurin Position: get as far along toward the Dwarves as possible, have a safe spot to camp for the night, since the Dwarves' trail is in the city I guess we need to find a place to camp in the city.
Telurin Interest: Follow Dwarves, stay safe

Aravule Position: similar, follow Dwarves, get out of city
Aravule Interest: Follow Dwarves, (stay safe?)

Halleth: I assume same as his liege? Please correct me

Hartley Position: cook up fish, have a nice meal, follow Dwarves
Hartley Interest: comfort, safe camp, follow Dwarves

Aerondil: ?

So are we all in agreement that, however we do it, our interests overlap? We ultimately want to keep on the Dwarves' trail and have a safe camp?

Please let me know if that looks right, or correct it, then V can just make the call/narrate where we actually go, since he'll know what our ultimate interests are.

It would make sense to head east as we are very near the Annon Amrun gate. If we want to avoid the central island and the crime-lord there, we either will need to catch a boat to the east or backtrack to the west through the whole length of the village. Th question then is if we want to set up camp on the norther shore or the southern shore. How difficult will it be to catch a boat at this time of night? I assume it is late at this point. Would we not be more likely to find a fisherman to take us across at dawn? Might draw less attention as well. (But then who knows what is waiting for us)

Let's just hurry and make camp, I personally don't feel strongly about where, as long as it is defensible and we can continue on the trail in the morning.

Agree. If the bad guy is going to come looking for us, I don't think it will matter where we camp
