So do we have a motion on the floor? If so, I second or third.

Why not Tet? Is it because of Nalir and Vara?

I know none of us like Nalir, but the other Dwarves have only been helpful to us (the ones working for us who are paying us back for what Nalir did, plus Blain's companions whom we have no qualms against). I know Telurin is supportive of the Dwarves' cause, even as an Elf, simply because we don't have many other friends here.

That being said, if you have a clear direction to take things, or can privately discuss ideas with Vardaen and suggest something else, I'm happy to hear it.

Yes.

I think Aravule would want some sort of reciprocity if it came to helping them. Vara and Nalir haven't been positive influences that Aravule is going to trust.

Agreed. Telurin wouldn't want to do it if we didn't have some kind contract that they would help support our mission in Tharbad.

A contract? Anybody read the Hobbit? Excellent idea as that is the modus operandi of the Khazad, no? I will have Blain suggest it.

Yes, I think you should offer a contract to help Aravule out, if we help find the lost dwarven colony. That way everyone gets what they want and we can move the game forward.

I always find that if folks just keep playing and posting ICly things will keep moving. While the OOC conversation is good, don't let it slow down the actual game play. Try not to cross IC and OOC too much.

I'm still not sure why Aravule dislikes Vara, I've made this point before how he's as much a victim as anyone else. And Nalir left Tharbad too.

Aravule's dislike of Vara makes sense to me. Halleth doesn't like him either, though his disgust may not be as strong as a Aravule's. I understand OOC when you say Vara's as much a victim as anyone else, but to Halleth as a character, Vara feels like a traitor. People are not always rational.
