Will it be possible for Hartley to light torches and pass them forward to the company? If so, I might take a round to do that, if not, I will have him charge into the fray.

V, could we get a ruling on BB's request?

"Can't Blain spend Hope to avoid the Wound, V? He rolled a 13, seems like he should be in range...
Also, shouldn't all of the Wights should lose 1 Hate for ignoring the Lamp? None of them moved at/attacked Telurin."

And thanks BB for thinking of this. I was simply so depressed about the rolls that I almost as a player lost all hope......

Yes on the HATE for the Lamp, I just didn't indicate. Don't be surprised if they have a lot of HATE however.

No Blain is suffering Fear, he can't spend any Hope. Sorry.

Pass your tests!

I spend a Hope Point to help you.

Happy to flip to Fellowship Phase.

However, are we able to take Saruman as a Patron? I'm pretty sure we HAVE to.

Also, where is HunterGreen? I see him in Discord, just haven't seen him in this game in a while...

Yes you'll be able to take him as a Patron! I think you have to, I probably will just give that one to you, so you can still take 1 other Fellowship Endavour.

Cool.
I was thinking of this, from page 116 of Horse-Lords; basically, sharing all that we learned/lore etc from exploring the Lost Colony. I'd argue it would have been interesting to Saruman because, of course, what he ultimately seeks to learn (about the Enemy, the Ring, etc).

Meet Patron (Saruman)
During a Fellowship phase spent in Isengard, a companion may choose this undertaking to deliver information to the White Wizard and gain 1 Experience point in return. It is up to the Loremaster to determine if the tidings delivered are deemed important by the White Wizard or not (anything concerning Gandalf is important, for example), and especially to what use Saruman will put that information.

This activity also goes along with the XP/AP spent - increasing Courtesy, Craft, and spending 1 XP to gain the next Lamp ability - specifically crafting a new Lamp.

What do you think?

You could certain do the 'Meet Patron' endevour as your action, but I don't think that's the same as 'Gain a Patron'.

I'll give you 1 XP for all you know, Saruman would do some private councils with you.
