Born to a simple family in Lake-town, Torwald was soon wandering the lands around the north. He had grown up on stories of Erebor and Dale and the men from the south. When his family moved from Lake-town to Dale he enjoyed the travel and the adventure of a new place, but soon that grew boring too and he took to traveling the Celduin and the eves of Mirkwood.
He longs to discover something lost, but he's not a loner, and enjoys the company of others. Taking work as caravan guard now and then has keep his feet moving, but his heart longs for a bigger trip.
