Act 2: The Bloody Camp

Eofor is aghast, the hobbit's blade should have rent the evil creature. He drops his own sword, stoops to grasp the hilt of the tarnished sword at his feet and lunges to stab the wight. "For the Mark." he cries.

Eofor will also move between the wight and Doneril so that the elf can try to retrieve his spent arrow from the dirt.

[Wbweather]

Dolenril, seeing Eofer pick up the sword and engage the wight attempts to retrieve the errant arrow as soon as the opportunity presents itself.

“Have at him, Tall Rider!” calls Dobbin in support of Eofor, seeing that The Rohirrim has found some great blade of ages past that will hopefully do much better than his own small, mundane sword. So he feints at the ancient king with sword and flame, hoping to distract it.

Eofor's hand grasps the worn hilt of the weapon and strikes forward, sinking the blade into the body of the dead king. The creature gives a hideous ear splitting shriek, it's eyes burning brightly like hot coals in the depths before it backs away, regarding the Rohirrim warily.
- - - Dobbin flails his torch this way and that, his blade cutting through the air in front of the wailing wight.

The elf sidesteps by the melee, edging his way around the wall of the burial chamber, looking to retrieve the arrow.

Torwald presses in, torch at the face of the barrow wight, "We bring light to dark places, you can not stand against us! Back! Back to the shadow!" He strikes with his fire, trying to drive it away and keep it at bay, his shield up to protect himself.

Attack with the torch, they must be fearful of fire

Drawing his glaive, Orin too advances on the creature, doing his best to avoid the feeling of dread building up in his gut.

Torwald's torch catches the Wight on the side of the head, sending sparks flying in a glittering arc across the burial chamber.

Orin is within striking distance of the wight, now with his glaive drawn and ready.

The wight, seems intent on keeping its distance from Eofor and Torwald, instead now focusing on Orin, who it rakes with it's long claws.

Orin takes 4 HP damage.

Dobbin and Dolneril to post - Dolneril is now by the arrow, sticking out of the wall of the chamber - behind the wight.

Dolenril, grabs the arrow from the wall and takes aim again at the wight.

"Argh ye bastard!" Orin roars, feeling the dread spikes of fear raking him deep. Defiantly he lashes back at the creature.

Orin's weapon bites deeply into the body of the wight, though it gives no indication of any ill effects.

Dolneril's attack is another matter entirely however, as the silver arrowhead pierces the armour of the dead king, the walking corpse lets out another shriek of anger and pain, turning to face it's attacker.
