"Aye, press 'im in!" Orin roars, realising his weapon is likely to cause much harm to the creature, but determined to keep the creature busy... besides, in his flailing he might accidentally block attacks meant for others as the creature had a single blade to their many.

“Strike it down! Strike it down! Eofor, for all that's good and green in the world, strike it down!” calls Dobbin desperately, seeing that The Rohirrim's new-found ancient blade is having some effect. The hobbit continues to feint at the dead king with his short sword in one hand and his torch in the other, hoping to distract it.

Don't want to hold up the action, but it's the Barrow Wight's turn, right?

With Dobbin and Torwald harrying the wight, Orin strikes at it with his weapon.

The wight looks back and forth between the companions, seemingly at a loss for what to do to combat the trio.
Aye, sorry, your action now..

Dead Man's Barrow - Round 4

With tribesmen spilling into the barrow chamber behind the group, Eofor once more strikes the dead king, the ancient blade sinking deep into the chest of the creature...

An ear piercing shriek of rage and despair brings tears of pain to your eyes, scattering the tribesmen with terror.. The barrow king drops to the floor of the barrow, reduced to a crumpled heap of broken armour and rags.

All is silent and still bar the fearful shouts of the Bearskin folk.

Letting out a deep, raggedy breath he hadn't realised he were holding, Orin looks around the dark barrow and finally breaks the seemingly too long a silence.

"Well, there ye see it lads... a fallen king of man be naught, but some broken armour an' rags."

It was a weak jape, but given the material he had little better to offer to relax the atmosphere.

Torwald stands silent and still for a time, then comes to his senses as Orin speaks.

"A terrible thing that was, and lucky for us the blade and arrow heads were at hand." He turns and looks to Dobin, "You were supposed to be outside, not in here with this. Are you alright my halfling friend?" The man brings the torch about to look at the Hobbit, then to the others, "Is anyone wounded?"

"Aye, terrible" Eofor mumbles "The fiend clawed me here" Pulling aside his hauberk and cloak to show the Ranger his wounds. He shudders as he remembers the horror of the red eyes closing in on him. His knuckles are white with tension around the sword hilt.
