While Karl makes his way back from a session at the practice range, he runs into the usually quiet Kari Tenclay, the Thunderbolt pilot in his lance.

“Hey,” She says quietly as the pair come closer. “You looking forward to making some C-Bills with this crew? Been a while since I felt like I actually belonged somewhere, at least these guys seem friendly enough huh?”

Who is talking? Kari? Who's the other person with Karl?
