DREAMS put a hand where his mouth would be at the sight of Kreel and Chiskisk being shot down, almost sarcastically. He simply went back to shooting at the closet target.

Book 1: Incident at Absalom Station - Act 1: Absalom Gang War
Kreel's lifeblood spills all over Counselor Chiskisk, his dead body making it hard for the insectoid Starfinder to breathe. The 21 Crew and the Kings have enough to worry about, and keep shooting each other up. Neither side is quite ready to give up, and they turn their attention back to each other.
That is a mistake. With laser fire no longer coming their way, the adventurers are able to break of their pinned position, and fire without fear. Scout zooms overhead firing potshots, further taking their attention away from the real threat. Quig, Jalesh, and DREAMS all draw beads on their respective targets, and fire into the center of mass. More criminals hit the deck. This is the last straw, and their morale finally breaks. Neither got to kill their true targets - the other gang - but clearly they're in over their depth and they book it out of the docking bay.
Station security finally arrives in the aftermath, too late to join in the fight. Emergency medical services follow a minute behind them to assist the injured. Kreel is quickly diagnosed as dead, but the Counselor is stabilized and prepped for transport to Medical. Guards aim guns at just about everyone, but quickly realize that the real perpetrators are long gone, leaving behind their dead. One of them comes over to question you. "What the hell went on here? Who are you? Why are dead 21 Crew and Kings strewn all over?"

"Pathfinders." Quig points at the company, "We coming here for a job with him, and gangers start shoot-shoot-shooting at everyone. We shoot back to try and save the counselor. We do okay, we shoot lots of them." He puts his weapon away and has Scout stay in the air working recon just in case the gangers think about doubling back and ambushing them again.

Annoyed Jalesh slings his rifle over his shoulder giving his head a small shake, "This station has really gone to shit, who knows what the hell we just got caught into with these gangs, i doubt that they are willing to take this laying down."

Station security check your story, easily finding out that you are on retainer with the Starfinders, and literally just landed just a few minutes ago. You simply didn't have time to start all this shit, you were clearly at the wrong place at the wrong time. Nothing more to be done, the officer politely apologizes for the short detention, asking you to contact the security department if you happen to remember anything else useful.
This leaves you without the welcome committee - the attache heading to the morgue, and the high official heading to sickbay with half his face melted off. The warm introduction to the Society of Starfinders has been shattered. The only consolation is that your champion within the organization - Venture-Captain Arvin - is still safely within his office in the Lorespire Complex.

"So..."
Quig's short attention span has been totally broken at this point. He looks around at the corpses and then shouts, "SALVAGE!" The rat man runs off to loot the bodies.

Jalesh looks at the rest of the welcome comitee and says "So can we go somewhere where we are not going to get shot at for our meeting?"

Suck conflict going around and in such a fickle! Though I agree to a change of location, to avoid another pickle. DREAMS stated, his gun now back in the bible

Book 1: Incident at Absalom Station - Act 1: Absalom Gang War
The group decides to move out of the Docking Bay, somewhere else where they might speak without the noise of the police, medics, and the wailing of the wounded or dying. They travel farther into Absalom Station, through the corridors into a quiet-ish commercial district. They find an anonymous bar and duck in, claiming a table.
They are quickly served whatever refreshment they desire, then left to their own devices. The rumor mill doesn't seem to have caught on to the gang fight in the docking bay as of yet, so they're mulling over other current events. The latest and greatest has been the recovery of a derelict ship called the Acreon, and what the locals have dubbed a cargo of 'Drift Rock' that two salvage companies appear to be fighting over. Wild rumors abound about what might have happened. One group contends that the crew witnessed something significant and were killed for it. Others say what they saw drove them mad, and they all marched out an airlock. More practical minds just believe it to be some rare and valuable mineral, or at most some broken piece of advanced technology. One particularly drunk man claims its a legendary treasure of lost Golarion, but he then promptly passes out and snores into the table.
