Mug in hand Hereweald nods, "Wise words Lord Eogar, wise words. Torwin has spoken plainly, there is no sinister motive here. Give her leave to join to Edroas and see the King. Let her sit and speak with him, and to have time to learn what has happened." To be honest Hereweald has lost track of their purpose here with all the troubles that have taken place since he just left.

He waits for a time after the Marshal speaks so he might sing a song or tell a tale to lift the mood and keep the spirits of those high.
Sorry I honestly sort of forgot our goal! My bad

Torwin replies looking first at Eogar and then at Mildryd.

"I will speak plainly to you both. The King wishes to bring unity to our divided lands, and he knows that your Captain and the Captain of the Third Marshal were once friends. He hopes that there might be renewed friendship, among Captains, Marshals and common soldiers like ourselves, from the East to the West of Calenardhon."
Edit to add a bit more after WB's note below
Torwin pauses, then looks back at Eogar, "And so the King proposes that Mildryd be given leave to return to Edoras; perhaps she would be willing to come to court and to meet with Esmund again. Perhaps the two of them can speak."

He stops there, and nods, unsure of what more to add; Torwin did not want to embarrass Mildryd, nor did he want to make it sound as if the King ordered anything, only that it was an opportunity for the good of the Kingdom that they should consider.

Thengel needs his marshals to make peace and to
immediately settle whatever payments of weregilds and
damages remain between them. But if he orders them
directly to set their households’ differences aside, it may
embarrass them and their people.
Only a marriage between the two households might
provide the proud marshals with the excuse for peace that
mere goodwill has yet to find. That may allow them to end
their feud without shame. As free Eorlingas, Mildryd and
Esmund are entitled to make their own decisions. They
know each other. They may be far easier to persuade than
the lords they serve.
Thengel asks the company to act as his messengers. Not
as his agents – they will not go with any authority! – but
rather to carry proposals and to convey the King’s desires.

Hereweald stands by Torwin and nods to confirm with him. If there is time after, or time between while the Marshall considers, he will retell a tale of alliance and kinship, of heroics against a great foe only made possible by the good will and team work of their people. Perhaps it may sway one or many in the company that together Rohan is strong, divided it is in danger to even foes like the barbaric Dunlendings.

As you speak of Mildryd and the possible union with Esmund, a clouded expression passes briefly over the Marshal's face. "Mildryd is no slave here, though she is like a daughter to me. There has been a deep divide between us in the West and those in the East. Few here are willing to forget wrongs done against us. Still though, I would hear what my shieldmaiden would say to this matter."

Mildryd herself stands tall and proud. She remains quiet and thoughtful for a moment before speaking. "Esmund I once knew as dearest of friends, but that was long ago, as if in another lifetime. Many and bitter have the years been that separate me from the girl I was back then. I remember little happiness or joy, nor do I expect any to come my way again. And yet, for the sake of the Rohirrim and at the request of the king, I would take Esmund as husband, barring one thing alone. If my lord will release me from his service as Shieldmaiden and give me his blessing in this matter, then I shall go to Esmund as his wife."

Éogar looks at you all with a piercing gaze. "I owe you much for what you have done for my wife. I appreciate the situation Thengel is is, but he is young and does not understand all that has passed between our people and those of the Eastfold. I am willing to listen, but I am not yet convinced that I should send Mildryd to these people and I doubt that doing so would make up for their offenses."

While he speaks, you cannot help but see Esfled behind her husband and it is obvious to you as well as him, that she likes the idea of the marriage.
So, first of all, sorry for the long delay.
Secondly, this will be a formal encounter and you need to persuade Éogar that he needs to allow Mildryd to go. You do not need to do introductions, he already know all that he needs to know about you.
