Book 1: Chapter 1 - A Game Afoot in Stormreach

Eberron is a world of pulp noir where swashbuckling and intrigue run rampant. The Last War is over, the war to end all wars, but many say the fighting has simply shifted from the battlefield to the shadows.

In the wake of a long and terrible war, a world struggles to find its destiny. Will it descend once more into brutal conflict and end in spectacular annihilation, or will the world emerge at last into a new era of peace and prosperity? One group of heroes hopes to make Eberron a better place. The Grey Company, formed by a collection of heroes recruits new members to their growing ranks -- you among them.

Fletcher looks at Oloven, then to the caster and ponders his allies words. As Oloven is tying the man's hands, "Perhaps you are right, Oloven. Besides, it might give the sleeping guy at Constable Jute's office something to do."
Number Two: "You are number six."
Number Six: "I am not a number, I am a free man!"
Number Two: "Muh ha ha ha ha!"

"Agreed. Don't turn your back on an enemy..." is all Werz has to say on the matter as he begins to tie the man up.

Stormreach Guard

So the Grey Company takes the would be 'slaver' back to the Stormreach Guard and Constable Jute. Arriving at the front desk the man there perks up and sizes your group up. "Eh? A criminal you say, in Stormreach? Who would have thought it. You can leave him with me."

"No Arron, I'll handle this." Constable Jute happens to arrive from upstairs having seen you approach from the windows on the second floor. "This one is mine. Come on in." You escort your prisoner to the jail, where Jute locks him up. "So, tell me, what did you learn? Who's this and what should I know." He sneers at Plutivarch who makes some rude comments but can't do much more than that in his condition.

Before entering the building, Helion says goodbye to Shakti and sends him back to his plane. He offers his left shoulder to Barisht and while it lands he says, "You better behave!"
After following the Constable, Helion stays quiet and lets the others do the talking.

"This is Plutivarch. He is the so called slaver we were after. It turns out however that the slaver rumor was a trap meant for us. He greatly underestimated us." Oloven sighs in relief "One more criminal off the streets is just that. Oh, and I'd be careful with this one. He knows how to use magic."

Jute looks in on the cage and listens to Oloven. "Plutivarch?" He turns and looks at Oloven directly. "Well well well, seems like you've caught yourselves a wanted man. Isn't that right Pluty? Petty thief, wanted in connections to a dozen crimes. I haven't had the pleasure myself to meet him, but here he is." Jute motions for you to stay put and he goes back up stairs. Ten minutes later he returns with some papers and a pouch, "Someone sign here to collect the reward out on our little 'slaver's head. 100 gold, all yours." He hands it over to Oloven who he has sign the paperwork to claim the reward. "I'm sure we can find a nice cozy cell for him for a longer stay."
Loot: 100 GP, he's a known criminal with a reward on his head.

I'm also going to assume you looted the corpses and Pluty before hand.

Loot sheet updated.

Coins in your pocket you have two options at this hour -- its after midnight after all. Either turn for home and get some rest, or sneak down to the Crow under the cover of darkness.
