The minions are in agreement, "Sure, whatever you say. Tie us up, send us out the back, whatever you say!" They are interested in living, so whatever plan leads to that they're on board with.

"I would hate to leave an innocent to suffer should a battle with a demon go awry," Astraea suggests. "We should rescue her first."

"Can't argue with the lady" Mercutio nods.

Re: Re: Book 1: Crownfall, Act 3: The Silent Blade
The goons are indeed tied up, freeing the heroes to commence rescuing their benefactor. Turning around to go south and loop around to the west, they first come across the nicest room they've seen so far down here. Two large bookshelves, an elaborate L-shaped desk, and a well-dressed bed decorate this lavish bedroom. A variety of spring, gears, and small tools clutter the desk alongside pages of sketches and designs. Two of Lady Martella's brass chatterboxes sit in one corner. A set of tooling is laid out next to what appears to be a work-in-progress, a mechanical timing gear constructed around a vial of unknown liquid. Most likely she was interrupted mid-assembly.
Further west is an open floor plan of a room. Three stuffed training dummies stand in the southern side of this stone room. Arrows and daggers protrude from the dummies, while weapons racks stand neatly along the northern wall. There is an exit to the north that you already know is blocked by stone, and the western door leads to an alchemy lab and then the open cavern that is being used for interrogation.

"I like having the element of surprise, let's keep it!" Mercutio suggests as they file towards the damsel in distress. "Nice and quiet...and then shock them."

Astraea nods assent to the plan. "Ready when you are," she whispers.

Theodrix advances at the front, and they go into what looks like an alchemist lab of some sort. Beakers and vials cover a table spanning the entire northern end of the room, while four shelves containing alchemical ingredients extend from the southern wall. From the description given by the guards earlier, just past here should be the cavern where the interrogation is taking place.
Just as they are about to walk through the hallway leading onward, Theodrix pauses and kneels down by the ground. A simple hair-thin wire extends across the hall, connected to a small bell. If he had kept walking forward, there wouldn't have been an explosion or a sudden pit trap, just a simple notification of your arrival. The subtle warrior carefully cuts the wire, disabling it.
Into the entryway to the interrogation chamber you go, the room giving way to the open cavern beyond. Six sets of manacles, evenly spaced along the western cave wall, dangle down to the dirt floor. All but one set hang empty, while the final set secures the body of a beaten and bruised woman - your Patron!
Standing before the chained noblewomen is a petite halfling dressed in standout black-red-and-white attire. She wears similar makeup, embellishing her childish face to resemble a raccoon. She seems to have boundless enthusiasm and a smile full of immaculate white teeth. It is impossible to hide your approach from sensitive assassins, and she and her followers turn at your approach, looking excited rather than surprised or scared.
The leader gives a dramatic bow, and now you recognize her - Wyssilka the Fantabulous! None of you spoke with her during the Grand Day of Exaltation, but she was on the balcony level of the Senate Building performing tricks and providing entertainment for adult and child alike. "Oh, splendid! More friends!" She lightly backhands Martella, scattering more blood on the floor. "Perhaps you will be more knowledgeable. You see, all I need is the location of Princess Eutropia, or really any other of Stavian's other enemies. I'm not that picky, really. I can finish my Contract at any time, but why pass up such an opportunity for juicy knowledge, yes?"

"And what contract is that?" Astraea asks, trying to sound conversational. She wasn't sure the halfling was entirely sane, given the outfit.
