Hey,
Just a heads up for New Englanders (or anyone else), the local university is holding another Tolkien in Vermont Conference in April. There's been some pretty great/geeky talks and presentations presented. You can view some of the papers as PDFs on their website.

If you click on the year sidebar (on left), then you can see/read the previous years' papers in PDF form.
If you decide to attend, just let me know. I should have a spare bed or couch you can sleep on (as long as you don't mind dogs & cats).

Dogs and cats are awesome! Especially if properly seasoned!

I'm trying to talk the local brewers into making some special beer and/or mead for the event I have our local meadery interested (he's a Tolkien geek). Now I just need to talk a beer brewer into being interested and then figure out how to get them in contact with university/host to make things happen.

They've posted the schedule for this year's event.
Just in case anyone is in New England area and wants to check it out, the schedule is now available at http://tolkienvt.org/
