I did not like SWTOR at all.

Re: Fond Memories of a MMO
I liked it a lot better than most MMOs. It was the first with any semblance of a story.

You should check it out again, Tet. The new expansion brought a lot more story into the game.

Re: Fond Memories of a MMO
It was game play, graphics, and general mechanics that I wasn't into. Didn't get too far because of that.

Graphics were ok. All MMOs gameplay is very lacking that I've seen. Click this button to AoE, click this one to tank, etc, etc. Such a bore.

Re: Fond Memories of a MMO
I dislike the grind of most MMOs, collect 10 Feathers for me, fight 240 Level 3 enemies.
The LOTRO one had some good fun on it, I didn't like the UI on it, always too small and I could never get it to look how I liked, but I did enjoy the story and stuff on that. However after a point the grind took over on that too in order to get enough Maguffins to join various NPC groups to get decent gear and rewards -- never made it out of the Barrow Downs.

Re: Fond Memories of a MMO
Oh yeah, that's why I uninstalled it. Endless grinding, really tedious. Get 40 quests in one quest hub and ride out to kill through masses of opponents...and then everyone can do it, so I don't really feel like a hero of any kind.
On the plus side I enjoyed crafting, the social side of it (kinship houses and meetings) and just plain old wandering.
Stil I think I'll get a subscription for swtor, If I ever get it to work.

I tried to transfer to the servers you guys mentioned, but can't because I am from Europe! Inconceivable!
