In a frightening report on Television Española, the Rebel Alliance from Star Wars is a growing threat to our freedom that must be stopped. Or at least that’s what viewers were lead to believe when the station confused the Rebel insignia with an al-Qaeda logo.

I've love to read some SW novels about the Empire's propaganda against the rebels during the war.

It depends on how you define terrorist. Usually terrorists are defined as people who make attacks on civilian targets, which, as far as I know, the Rebel Alliance didn't do. But, yeah, one person's freedom fighter is another person's terrorist.
