C7 might be biting off more than it can chew. Their product lines are slow enough as is.

I'm going to have to agree with this as well.

Games Workshop just got all butthurt with FFG when they decided to do Runestone, or, I guess, FFG did it in response to GW not renewing the license. Anyway, GW's games typically are horrible. They released a board game (actually I'm not sure it has released yet) that looked absolutely horrid. This was directly after FFG stopped publishing their licenses. I also feel the fallout had to be pretty quick between FFG and GW as Conquest was a pretty new LCG line and I can't imagine FFG would have designed that game knowing it would end less than 2 years in.

Not the company I would've picked for it, but I'm not the owner of a multi-million games workshop...

They may be slow in comparison to some other publishers, but look at the quality of their work...

Personally, having had some dealings with C7, I think the license is in very good hands in terms of keeping the theme of Warhammer alive. I can't say they're going to flood the shelves with a multitude of new books, but I think whatever they put out will be top quality.

I'm very interested. If it is anything like Warhammer 2nd ed, it's gonna be great. I also hope they will follow up with the 40k stuff.

I've pre ordered, btw, but also been playing with Zweihander. Which is an indie retro clone of 2E.
