User ranks?

Alright. I'm going to resurrect this 6 month old topics.
The Shadowrun style rank names no longer really fit in with what this site has become (other than the corny explaination above).
So, I'd like some ideas on new rank names. We'll need 5 in some sort of logical progression.
I'd also rather not bias them to any particular RPG setting either.
I'll keep the same rank progression in place that is currently (1, 10, 75, 250, 750). Just going to give the ranks new names.
Here is a preliminary list to spur discussion onwards:
Newbie RPGer
Casual RPGer
RPGer
Experienced RPGer
RPG Elite

Re: User ranks?
Since people have reached stupid levels of posting, I feel that it's time to resurrect this thread.
I've always hated "Newbie PRGer" since most of the people who come to this site have YEARS of experience. I've renamed them all with levels for no, since most of us are D20 players. But this is a temporary measure. I would like to name the 15 ranks (Which will take us up to 50k posts... something that should make even the Mighty Vardaen think twice) something clever... but it seems I am not clever enough. Perhaps we are all together.
Lets hear some ideas.

Re: User ranks?
I think we could use some generic RP levels, such as:
Commoner (for newbie)
Level 1 -
Level 20 - Epic, etc.
Admins - Game Masters
Wasn't it d20 ed 2 that had names associated with different levels for certain classes? It would be cool if we had a choice in our profile that listed classes (such as Rogue, Paladin, Jedi, Gang Member, Superhero, etc.) then the titles for each level would be used, etc.

Re: User ranks?
Ah, I like the choice in profile for rank ID... that would be a pain to code up though, I think.
It was 2nd Ed AD&D that had the different titles per level.
The only thing that I don't like about that is that this site isn't only specific to Fantasy RPGs, but the multiple rank lists would take care of that. I think it is probably too much to code up right now though.
But brainstorming the lists for the future would be cool.

Re: User ranks?
I think it was 1st Ed that has the ranks, I will dig out my 1st ed books with the various lists. I mentioned this sort of thing when we started thet site, but the whole 'we have more than fantasy' thing quickly shot it down. I'll find the lists and post a few of them tonight fromh ome if I find the time.

Re: User ranks?
It was definately 1st edition. The only place you could be a summoner one level and a necromancer the next (or something like that).
I personally liked the Hero/Super-Hero Fighter levels.

Re: User ranks?
How about we start using our player base as the level titles.
If you have 5000+ posts you are Vardaen Level
If you have 1000+ Posts you are Kaikita Gokumoro level
If you have 500 posts that are totally annoying you are Fencer level!
If you have 10 posts you are Brin Level
