This is just a quick message to let you know that posting requirements have changed for IC games run here on the forums. And, no, this isn't because of any 'problem' that we've had here. Just using groups that the site provides. You won't be able to post unless you belong to one of the 'posting-allowed' groups. This does not affect reading the Forums in *ANY* way.
So, the way it currently sits is that there is a group provided for each IC game. That group will be something named along the lines of "<forum-name> Players". Currently there exist "Mahasarpa Players" and "Zakhara Players". These groups are going to be moderated by the GM running the game (or, if more than 1 GM is running the game, 1 of the GMs).
These groups are 'open' enrollment. What this means is that anyone can request access to the group, but that enrollment is subject to the Moderator of the Players group.
All that these new Players groups allow you to do is to post & reply to posts made in the IC forums. Everyone can still read the forums.
In order to join one of the Players groups:
- Use the "Usergroups" link (right under the top Forums banner, 3rd icon from left).
- You'll then see a drop-down selection of the groups available.
- Just select one of the Players groups, and then hit "View Information".
- Then hit the "Join Group" button to join.
