Character Generation
I updated the timeline. We'll start the same year as The Mandlorian shows starts. That way we can stay a year or two behind the current season.

Also, as far as backstory. You're welcome to have joined the Rebellion, especially after the Great Purge, versus the Empire. Endor was ~7 years ago and Great Purge happened (maybe less than a year, or a year) before Battle of Endor. Or you could have been a Bounty Hunter for Empire, but the attack on Mandalore might have changed your direction, etc. Lots of different ideas.
Also, if preferred, I could probably find 2-3 other players (most likely not from here, new forum users) that might be interested.

For clarification, your starting Mandalorian armor is NOT BESKAR. It's plain durasteel armor.
To upgrade your durasteel Mandalorian armor to beskar, you need to purchase the CORTOSIS WEAVE armor modification. This costs 10,000 credits RAW -- However, we'll do this like the D+ series. It will cost 10 beskar bars (1 bar per 1,000 credits). We'll track beskar bars like credits on character sheets. Any beskar discovered can be split with PCs. This is very rare, so it's not something you can just 'buy' on a planet. You can also trade beskar with other Mandalorians for gear, bribes, trades, etc.
The CORTOSIS WEAVE upgrade makes your armor's soak immune to Pierce and Breach qualities.

I'd be fine with bringing in additional players from elsewhere, which might then eliminate the need for us to have two characters each.

What are the capabilities of a Helmet Comlink and a Multiband Comlink? I don't seem to see either in the standard equipment list in Edge of the Empire.

Helmet Comlink - A long-range comlink is integrated into the helmet.

Same thing. Looks like they just named the same thing with two different names.

That happens a few times in the books. Editorial oversights, probably. I should be able to start working on a character tonight after work, now that my internet is back.

Well, that certainly makes the choice easier.

Muskrat, with the addition of 2 players and change to only one character, which of your two ideas are you going with?
