Got it Shurjio, I'm still unsure if I've done the skill things right for both you and Tet, so I've asked over on the 7th Sea Offical threads. For now you have both done it the same, so that's good.

Booty

Post by Vardaen » Mon Mar 28, 2005 6:37 am

Once character creation is completed I'm going to begin to use the booty and currency options shown in the Port Royal suppliment. Here is a clip form it so you don't have to search around.

Attention Wanderers!

Post by Vardaen » Thu Mar 31, 2005 7:32 pm

Attention Wanderers! (Tet and Shurijo)

I asked and recieved. Ruling on the Trademan class ability for the Wanderer. I even got an answer from one of the offical people :) Here is what he said:
Basically yes, it is very much a "two for one" deal. With "Tradesman", when the player spends a point on a knowledge or craft skill they get a free point to spend in another knowledge or craft skill. The only proviso being that they cannot put them both in the same skill and cannot mix knowledge and craft skills. For example, say a sailor has the following skills he wants to work on improving.

Craft (Carpentry) 10
Craft (Ropemaking) 10
Knowledge (Midnight Archipelago) 10

If he had a point to spend he could increase both of the Craft based skills to 11. But he could NOT increase any one of them to 12 with the free point, and he could not choose to increase the Knowledge skill and one of his Craft skills with the ability.

Hope this is clear enough.
You two may wish to redo your skill one more time. Sorry for the chaos of this! Go ahead and redo and let me know. Sorry again.

I just explained it to you on the MUSH, so you better get it now. Shurijo I hope you understand.

If you put a point into a Craft, you get a free bonus point to put into a Different Craft.

If you put a point into a Prof, you get a free bonus point to put into a Different Prof.

If you put a point into a Knowledge, you get a free bonus point to put into a Different Knowledge.

I understand and will need to redo my knowledge skills. I did 2 for 1 for both craft and profession, but 1 for 1 for knowledge.

Hey guys...

I'm considering ending these games. I have lost the drive to GM them, and time seems to be consumed running all the other games. Some possible options I suppose instead of ending them is to fast forward the games to get everyone together uber fast and try and run it that way...

What woulc you guys want to do? Do you even still care?

Well..

I do like having a game that's different than all the others, which these are, however, I have lost some interest as well.

You could end my game and I wouldn't care so much.
