1006 Adventures: Birthrights - Sayyid in Dhiliz

"The Seven Voyages of Sinbad,""Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves,""Aladdin and His Magic Lamp" -- these and other classics fill the pages of the Arabian Nights. Each story is told by a very wise and beautiful young woman called Scheherazade, who reveals them night after night to a king with a murderous heart. The first of the thousand-and-one tales is Scheherazade's own...the last may be yours. Join the adventure in a land of sultans, genies, and desert nomads as we explore the world of Zakhara, The Land of Fate. (A vWorld Expansion)

Sayyid rolls the map and tucks it into a scroll case that he didn't have a day ago (And that closely matches the ones being sold by the angry halfling woman) Then he turns to the others. "Back to our comfortable rooms, then?"

Kasib looks over Sayyid's shoulder, peeking at the map and transaction. When Sayyid suggests heading back to the inn, he nods, "We need baths, and to prepare for the party later tonight!"

Rambad adds, "Yes a bath. There is a bath house across the street from the Jasime Dream. We can check in, and clean up all in one fell swoop."

Ahmed smiles at the comment, "I already paid the bath house a visit. For now, I'll rest I had a late night." Heading up the stairs to the rooms he turns back, "Besides, this way I'll be here when the others arrive."

Kasib just nods to Ahmed, "Very well," and then follows Rambad to the bath house. He looks over his shoulder to see if Wali is still following along.

Sayyid also follows along to the bath house. This humidity makes a person stink more than they would in the dry desert.

Wali is in fact following along...

** Some time later **

The group arrives at the Jasime Dream. Entering your rooms, the group drops off gear, collects clean clothes, and does other such activities. As the group is ready to go to the bath house across the street, Jabiir enters the downstairs, without Bashir or Ka'im.

Kasib looks up at Jabiir and yawns, "Where are the others?" he asks, "We have a party to attend tonight, and we are about to bath." He looks the former barbarian up and down, not saying anything negative, though surely he is thinking it.

"Ka'im and Bashir went to the floating bazaar to purchase items that might benefit us later on....." He stops when the mention bath. He wrinkles his nose in distaste, but like kasib manages to keep his inner voice , and barbarian from slipping out. In a voice as smooth as a pickpocket's hand he declares.
"A bath, that I can join you for. This heat...." He heads to his own room to collect clothing to change into, and deposit weapons other then his Kurki's, keeping both on his belt as he returns. He at least remembers a funeral and un-invited guests.

The End

Post by Vardaen » Mon Jul 09, 2007 11:25 pm

The group waits for Jabiir to gather his things at the Inn, the rest are already to go. With the coins required, and their things with them. Clean clothing too would be nice, and if anyone desires to have their clothing laundered while they bath, can pay up 3 copper bits for the service.

Just as the assembled group is heading out, the run into Bashir and Ka'im returning from the Floating Bazaar!
Alright, the threads are back together. If everyone would start posting back to the main thread now, that would be great.
