Kasib is not paying attention, still happy to be "home". "Rambad? Rambad! Where?"

The rawun starts looking around, then spots the drunk. "Oh! That ol' scallywag!"

"Hey, Rambad! What have you been doing? Drinking! You missed quite a ... fun ... time!"

Yakub grabs his fez and holds it to his chest, "Oh my, by the Loregiver he's drunk! You fool, don't let the Mamluk see you or you will spend the night in Caliph's dungeons!" The Hama circles lower and lower, and finally lands on the edge of the awning of a nearby merchant and gives a frightful caw.

"My Liver!" shouts Yakub as the bird follows you all so closer into the city. "We must go and see Adballa! He will know, he will know. Someone bring that drunkard with us before he gets in trouble!"

Mumbling Yakub comments on the bad luck of the group in running into the drunk Rambad and blames the Hama again for such a tragedy.

The Razor is right however, Adballa min Juahar, the priest that gave you the directions to the tomb, and to whom you still owe money may have a way to exercise the spirit brid. You make yur way quickly along the streets and roads of Muluk toward the temple of Juahar the Golden, praise the enlightened gods and all their wisdom.

After an hour's travel you are dismounting infront of the small temple and head within under Yakub's guidance. "Let us hope Adballa is here." You climb the marbel steps into the mosque. A small, but rich afair, with a golden dome center, and tall white marble pillars all around. The main chamber is one open room where worshipers can come and kneel on carpets of the finest quality The Free Cities have to offer. A few priests tend the chamber and collect donations from worshipers. Kneeling on a carpet near the door is the dwarf Abdalla, a frown on his face, and a sour mood in his heart.

"Grumpy!" barks out Kasib. "We have you're portion of the booty."

The Rawun looks around, casting a glance at Rambad before continuing forward. His eyes start darting about, forgeting Rambad's drunkeness or even the priest. "Hama ..."

Rambad looks between the people in the group and once the words of being drunk at street finally penetrates the fog that the alcohol is creating, he lifts his hand, takes a firm grip of the girdle of Yakub's saddle and moves along, keeping himself straight by the help of the camel.

Ka'im looks around the temple as the group enters, to see if anyone is within earshot of the priest on the mat near the door.

Yakub enters the mosque and goes down to his knees in proper suplication to the might enightened god that was worshiped here. He scolds the rest of you for not doing the same, "You already bring trouble on us, behave Kasib." The Razor, still on his knees when Abdalla turns to the others as you enter and call to him. "As salem alekum friends. You have returned, I take it that means all has gone well." He hears Kasib say that one word Hama and the priest silences the rawun. "Shh. Do not speak such words here." Glancing around he stands up and moves to the front door, "Come my children, let us walk and talk..." He leads the group out of the mosque and down into the square that is center to several mosques and temples here in Muluk. You move away from the watchful gaze of the mosque of Juahar and then the grumpy dwarven priest speaks, "You have the rest of the donation? And something else it seems." His eyes land on the Hama as it perches on the saddle of Jubba the camel that Kasib has ridden. "You have called down the anger of the spirit he whoses things you now posess." The sullen, grumpy, displeased dwarf actually cracks a smile at the trouble the group seems to be in. Yakub relates the tale of the adventure to the preist and at each ill turn you encounter Abdalla's mood improves. Finally at the end of it the dwarf actually lets out a slightl chuckle at your misfortune.

"You no doubt want the Hama gone? Yes? Then I can make that happen, return here at dusk, with the rest of what you owe me, and with a suitable donation for the exersisim, perhaps 500 dinar and something 'special', and you shall be free of Jabir's restless spirit."
The Group Owes Abdalla: 250 dinar still, that is half of the original 500 dinar for the information leading to the tomb, which was perfectly accurate. Plus for the removal of the Hama another 500 dinar and something 'special', this 500 can be payed with 1 necklass from the loot.

The group currently has the following loot:
Ivory Cards 250 Dinar Value - Ka'im
Gem-studded mask - 1500 dinar - Kasib
Gold necklaces (x6) 500 dinar each - Yakub x1, Ahmed x2, Ka'im x2, Adballa x1 (for payment to come)
Fragance oil urns (x4) 25 dinar - Yakub
The Seal of Jauhar 500 dinar (if a buyer could be found for the religous item)

I've tried to sort things out evenly, based on previous posts of what people wanted. This also is good time to award XP for the group: 1520, this should put everyone up to 3rd (Everyone as in Ka'im, Kasib, Ahmen, and Yakub.) Unfortunately Rambad was drinking and gambling his reward from 'A Flick of the Tale' away ;)

Ka'im nods his head quickly, agreeing with the price that is put forward by the priest. He just wants to be rid of the Hama.

Kasib frowns, shaking his head, and wondering if Abdalla had this little trick up his sleeve. "Something is better than having this curse over our head."

He walks along, but has not idea what "special" gift to give other than a swift kick to the shin.

Yakub agrees as well, "That is fine Adballa, we shall return here at dusk with what we owe you." The Razor leads the group away from the mosque and back to a small house in the lower class districts where Yakub lives. "Welcome to my house." During the few hours of time in between you take care of the camels, unload the traveling gear, and with Yakub's hspitality, meager as it is, for he is not a rich man, you bathe, get shaves from Yakub, and eat a small meal. Everyone has time to rest and reflex on the events of the week long trip out into the furrowed mountains. All the while the Hama perches on the window sills and follows you around while outside. Eventually the time arrives for you to leave, and you begin your walk back to the mosque feeling refeshed. The light of day is fading and the dusky of night is starting to set in. The Hama travels close behind, squaking at you. People give you a wide breath and few are willing to even talk to you, the feeling of dread from the bird, and the threat of the Evil Eye is enough to keep them at bay.

You reach the mosque eventually and Abdalla is standing out in front, and silently motions for you to enter. Inside you find the mosque empty except for one other priest of Juahar. The tall lanky man looks old in comparison to Abdalla, as grey peppers his beard. Candles burn in a line long the floor behind him. In one hand is an ancient text, in the other is a cerimonial jambiya. "Enter effendi, and be at peace." Ahmed realizes that the ritual of exercisim is about to begin, something he has witnessed once, but never been part of.

Yakub removes his fez and enters silently with reverance, head bowed. He kneels on one of several carpets placed before the candles. You are all motioned to do the save.

Kasib, whom never wheres a fez, kneels on the rug. He thinks, 'Let's get this over with.'

The rawun has been extremely quiest for him, although more talkative still than the rest of the group, since returning to the city.

The ever threat of Hama souring his mood.
