Re: The Last of Al-Assir
"Wait!" Kasib yells at the others, "Just wait." He reaches down and tries to fish the artifact out. "This is something important I think. There is something buried."

"Is there something buried besides the cobra?" Bashir asks? He pulls an admantine katar from his belt. "This might help with the digging," he offers.

Ka'im remains out of the way while the others dig, knowing that he won't do anything but get in the way of them. He does try to catch glimpses of what is being unearthed whenever he can however.

Re: The Last of Al-Assir
Ubadha pushes past Jabiir, who is skittish about touching the relic left in the dirt. (He did just get rid of the Disk after all). Bashir produces an adamantine katar and uses it like a spade to help the Rawun, the pair quickly uncovers the Jade Cobra figurine from the boney hand. Its obvious that the body that lies under the many boulders pilled up here is ancient, and anything beyond this hand and cobra would take far too long to try and dig out, if that's even possible considering the weight of the stones.
Ubadha, figurine in hind, looks at the perfectly sculpted coba and notes that the hood fan of the snake flares around a face that is strangely remincient of a human (though still serpentine). Taking up the figurine the Rawun has a sense of control of it, a smile breaks on his face beyond his own control as he turns the figurinee, unblemished from years in the stone, over in his hand.

Jabiir sees the smile break out on Kasib's face and groans. "Not good, Very Not Good." He keeps his eye on the Rawun.

Ahmed shrugs at Jabiir's comment. "Just because you had the misfortune to find one curse Jabiir doesn't mean every magical artifact is tainted." Seeing the dead end of the tunnel the Saluk turns around. "It seems we're done here, if you'll excuse me I've got an elephant god I need to go try to barter with for a friends life."

Kasib's smile finally fades as he tucks it into his pouch. "Very nice," he says to himself, smacking Jabiir on the shoulder. "Do not fret, Jabiir," he quips, "It is not going to be the end of us, I reckon, not like that infernal disc!"

"Do you know what it is?" Bashir asks. "Is it a relic of the fight against the Geomancers?"

Sayyid bends to see what he can see of the remains of the creature that was killed by this cave-in, trying to determine why it was here, and if it was responsible for the creation of the tunnel, or just exploring.

Re: The Last of Al-Assir
Ka'im approaches Kasib after the snake figure is away. "What did you learn about that statuette by touching it?"
He seems a little bit concerned about the appearance of the statue itself.
