Phillip helps Datu to his unsteady feet. The gash in his leg has stopped bleeding for the most part, but the wound is deep and has cut into the joint of the knee. The dwarf puts some pressure on the injured leg and instantly a shooting pain greets him.
Gavran thrusts the tip of his spear into the ground, bents, and retrieves his bow quickly. An arrow sits upon the bow as the Druid's arm draws another forth fluidly. The arrow is launched and head straight for the bandit archer, but at the last second the attacker jumps to the side!
His will is not set to the Templar's last command. The bandit drops his bow and turns, running from the field in a frantic sprint for safety. The bandit's legs move him only ten feet before he drops to his knees, screaming in agony before they even hit the ground. Blood leaks through his fingers as his hands cover his ears. When his screams end he falls to the ground dead.
The curse of the Templar indeed.
The second bandit Bohthin does nothing of the same. He continues to fight. He has not been successful in harming the dwarf. Even the bandit's successful attacks are turned by Bohthin's heavy armor. The next swipe of his swordsword is no different. The man steps backward and swings, but leaves his arm out of reach and completely misses the dwarf.
