Shadows against the Darkness: Characters

Characters must belong to the Scorpion Clan, no exceptions.

Stealth and Investigation are very important to this campaign.

Each Scorpion will be third rank with 95 experience to spend.

No character may start with any knowledge of the Lying Darkness and it's minions.

If you are interested, please post here and let me know what you intend to play. I will allow communication among the players to make a strong group and previous knowledge and/or relationships are acceptable.

Make sure to answer the twenty questions in the basebook as well give me at least a basic background.

95 CP total? That won't get us to Insight Rank 3 ... It would just be 2+. Or is it Rank 3 + 95 CPs, which could get us to Rank 4?

What else is everyone thinking, wouldn't want to step on other characters toes.

I believe its 3rd Edition rules, but the time period is the Hidden Emperor before anyhting is really known ICly about the Lying Darkness.


Good question, who is playing the shugenja? I haven't started yet but I'm looking at a few of the options in the Art of the Duel to get in something slightly different (at least for me). They are advanced schools, so I would probably be something liike Bayushi Bushi 2/Special School 1
