Andromedus' fingers wriggle and point. Another blast of eldritch energy streaks across the clearing, narrowly missing the tree and smashing into the bear's wide, furry chest. The beast's roar stops short as it brings its head down and throws his shoulders forward, beginning to run...
Herrick's training and quick reflexes have another arrow drawn and airborne without a thought. It flys straight, striking a bony ridge protruding from the beast's shoulder, but bounces off without slowing the creature's charge.
It's unusual gait, at once clumsy and efficient, consists of long stretched bounds. The ground seems to tremble as the huge bear turns by the tree, and covers the distance. It stands between Andromedus and Herrick, its claws raising to either side in huge sweeping motions. Broken branches rain down on their heads, and a large drop of a sickly green saliva drops from its jaws as the bear prepares to attack.

Eniallis' eyes take on the hundred mile stare as he sinks into the concentration necessary to give physical shape to his thoughts. Those who know, know that help is on the way.
Unsure what to do, Smith steps forward, closing some of the distance between himself and the fight.
The shifter places one hand on the hilt of his sword, the other raises to the sky. Soft chanting ensues, the cleric calling upon the grace of the Soveriegn Host to help his friends. A shimmering longsword made of pure, magical force appears, hovering above the large, bony, bear. Swinging down on its own power, the blade bites into the beast's left shoulder.

Herick is glad to see the arrival of the spirit blade, he's witnessed the Shifter's weapon of his god appear before on the wall, and even though there is no one wielding it, and it has no ture self, he's always consided the blade that appears the same one, a friend and ally in the wall. He stands and darts tot he west closer to the main group about thirty feet putting himself against a tree, with some folidage around him before he loads and fires again at the bear without a word. The others know what to do - kill it.

The bear smells an oppurtunity as the goblin attempts to work his magic. An enormous claw wizzes by Andromedus' head, splitting a hair or two, but otherwise not harmful. It slams into the evergreen tree that was the goblin's cover a moment ago sending chunks and slivers flying everywhere. The tree creaks its protest as it struggles to stay standing.
A purple glow encompasses Andromedus' hand for a second before shooting out and striking the bear's chest point blank. Its plain to see, that he can't go toe to toe with this thing for long, so the goblin carefully backs off. The damaged tree sways toward them.

"Hrrrmf!" The shifter Kalagar snorts seing the mighty power of the soverign host working on the bear. He has his Sword out and sees that Andromedus is in need of aid and cannot face the bear alone. He huff and puffs as he moves quickly to the aid of the other comeing into the trees before he Stops. He Begins another prayer:
"Bless all my friends, May their weapons strike true this day, may fear not eat away at their minds!"

"Praise the blessing of the Host! We need to flank and surround it to throw it off balance. Goblin! Get the heck out of here before that thing rips you in half!" He steps around a tree and loads his bow. He lines up his arrow with the soft belly of the bear and draws the string back. He holds the arrow taking aim waiting a few second for the bear to move out from behind the foliage and then he fires.
