Nug'ak looks over at his brother in size and grins, very largely.

"Yer gonna be a fine addition to the Rat."

He looks at some of the others as the Spider turned Rat is directed to pick up the corpse.

"Someone grab his weapons too."

Errgin turns his back on their new thrall, returning to the spider seer. he begins to toss the corps, looking for goods. Chit Chit would be proud. He expertly rifles through the spoils.

"Gork'gork, strong name, you might be strong, You hurt me. We need to report back to our seer. Nug'uk help me remove this things head."

Looting The Web

Post by Vardaen » Thu Feb 16, 2006 1:40 am

Gork'Gork nods a few times to the others and moves to grab hold of the Seer to drag the enture body back with him and the others, but Errgin begins to loot the seer... he comes up with a few intersting items.

He finds on the corpse a dagger made from a cold iron, the skill of the forging clearly marks it as not Grunling, but still the blade is small and serves your kind as a dagger. (Cold Iron Master Work Dagger)

He also finds a bunch of the Seer's bone totems, in effect they are the magical focus for the Seer's power, serving to aid the caster in his spell casting. (Bone Totems: +2 Concentration if used while Casting on Defensive)

Also a small pouch of ground up yellow powder. It appears to be mushroom dust of some kind, and when Errgin sticks his finger into the pouch and tastes the powerder the pain in his tongue fades slightly, clearly the powder is some potent healing mushroom. (Powder of Cure Light Wounds, to be applied to wound.)

The dead grunlings of the spider tribe have morning stars (4), and daggers (2) which can be gathered up easily enough. The old champion of the seer, now claiming to pledge himself to the Rat has some nice looking stuff as well, but he's still wearing and wielding them. When Errgin is done looting the seer, you all realize that the chamber itself has some things in it. It looks like a bed chamber for the see, a ratty blanket and 'bed roll' area is set up for sleeping, while the walls are covered with arcane scribbles with charcoal all sorts of things which most of you can't read any how. A small area looks dedicated to his arcane arts and a few candles burns, along with bowls filled with blood and bones.

The ranger scoops up one of the daggers and sheeth as well as one of the morning starts. Both are placed in his pack for later use... And if he happens to find any shinny coins or the like, he will pocket them as well. He does not take his time doing this and seems to be in a rush to keep moving, hoping to keep this to one encounter.

Scipio looks at the bone totems wth great interest, and snatches them up quickly, unless soneone opposes the act, and looks at them curiously as they head back to rat lands.

Gak'uk grabs up some weapons, and pockets a few coins as Scipio grabs up the bones that the Seer had on him. The looting is going well, and the echo of battle down the other tunnels continues.

Nug'ak grunts at the command given to him.

"Can take the head, but I thinks that the liver was actually wanted too?"

He pauses a few moments, before issuing a command. "Gork'gork, set it down."

Once this is done, he sets his axe on the throat of the former Spider Seer, raises it, and chops down the way someone would when chopping wood.

** Sploosh **

The head is chopped from the neck with a solid single hit. The Spider Seer's dead eye look up at the group as the head rolls free.

Errgin takes the dagger and can think of no better use then to remove the Seer's liver. He cuts into the body, further desecrating it and cuts at the liver to remove it.

"Shall we go?"
