Song Duel

Post by Bitom » Mon Dec 04, 2006 10:55 pm

Song duel is simple... keep the game going by posting a song lyric inspired by the last song posted. Example:

1: Livin' La vida Loca (Ricky Martin - Livin' La Vida Loca)
2: Living in America (James Brown - Living In America)
3: I'm afraid of Americans (David Bowie - I'nm Afraid of Americans)
4: I'm Afraid, I'm Afraid Shoo..shoot me I'm Afraid - MLWTTKK - Nervous Xtians)
5: etc...

You must identify the song you are quoting, you are disqualified by using a song that has been used before, or by having an incomprehensible link between songs that nobody can understand. Once disqualified, you cannot post again until the next round. Points will be tallied at the end of each month and a new round will begin.

Round 1 begins now with this quote which I will recieve no points for (Yes, I'm playing, too):

I'm like a train, I roll hard lettin' off much steam. (Kid Rock - I am the Bullgod)

The deputy sheriffs, the soldiers, the governors get paid,
And the marshals and cops get the same,
But the poor white man's used in the hands of them all like a tool. (Bob Dylan - Only a Pawn in Their Game)

I'm gonna keep on Knockin'
Knockin' like before
Till my heart beats down your door

(Europe - Till my hearyt beats down your door)

I challenge you to find a more obscure song from an 80's hair band

Big City Big city nights. (Scorpions - Big City Nights)

And someday I will have a quote that is not the song title... I swear.
