Re: Nosy Neighbor
No. Fireworks aren't really big here on New Years . . . though I'm told there will be a few people shooting guns into the air. Our little town is having a modest New Years bash in the town square. We'll probably go to that.

Re: Nosy Neighbor
We wanted to have a nice DVD evening, but the fireworks kept the kids awake long and so we spent the evening looking after the kids. And at midnight we wanted to watch it, but it was too foggy so we say nothing...

Re: Nosy Neighbor
We have a few family-type goals for 2010, but my personal resolution:
1. Finish this book.
2. Do whatever it takes to get rid of this ulcer and get off the stomach meds.
--2a. Exercise more and more regularly. Finding the time for this is the real resolution.
--2b. Abstain from all alcohol (really bad for ulcers, they tell me) until I'm healthy again. I don't drink much, but I sure do love my fruity drinks.
--2c. Find a new job, if necessary. This one may be solved for me.
