Korban turns and simply walks out of the room. He has taken great pains to just keep quiet today and not thrash Tibernious as he would mostly like to. The time he is spending with the priests is grating on his nerves and the thought of more time with them is not a welcome one... He hopes he can talk the sherriff out of making him go.

Hanz begins follows along with leaving Crookshold. He is still quite and only nods to the others as they part once again. Hanz pauses for a moment and looks over Korban then nods and continues with the others heading for the church. Once back at the church Hanz takes a hot bath. If any seem him during this time, he seems to still be in deep thought and bothered by something. He does not give any hints as to what and just shrugs as a response to any questions.

Zanick returns to the church with the others. The priest promptly returns to the guard shack to report in and receive any assignments. He goes about the remainder of the day contemplating the impeding crusade and the fates of the townsfolk.

Brother Tibernious bows to Clarence, "Impatience is not what I was attempting to display, but readiness, and the lack of hesitation in my convictions. I shall meditate on your suggestion Brother Clarence." He follows the others out and returns to his duties, with extra prayers thrown in, until called on.

The five of you take the long journey up to the top of Crookshole, where you are identified by a priest who's sole qualification for the best posting in the order is his spectacular memory for faces. Once it is determined that you are not escaping prisoners, you return to the city and to your various duties.

Korban is called in the next day, and although not unexpected, he is disappointed to learn that Clarance was not simply blowing wind. A favor has been called in, and the Sheriff honors it. It begins to become clearer how the Sheriff keeps his position when so many politicians have failed to do so before him.

All of you maintain your normal schedule until Matthew comes to tell you when you will be departing.
