Chapter 1.1: Being a loner is SO goth

The elders can't be stopped, but their inhumanity can't be accepted either. Moving to another city accopmplishes nothing, the situation is the same everywhere. Now the only hpe is to band together. As a group, maybe you and the other young ones can resist the political tides that threaten to erode that which makes you human.

Duke comes out into the alley and looks around for harold. The buzzing of flies and the stink of garbage rise into the air around him. The narrow alley leans in on itself, the red bricks look blood red almost black in the glow of the nearby neon lights of the club. Duke paues at the mouth of the alley and calls down into it. "Harold?" He takes a step in, hand reaching for a pocket.

Maria walks though the doors and begins mingling with the club. She does not ask around about the missing yet, only talks to the people she runs into. After a few minutes, Maria realizes that the girl was 'rich' with money often comes power and friends with the same. She works her way to the 'upper/popular' class of the Goths.

The music pumps out of the rebuilt church, quickly drowning out Duke's voice. Wherever Harold is, it's not close enough to hear the man.

Inside, Joe continues to weather the stares of the Goths while Maria approaches the group by the confessional. They haven't moved much from when Harold was talking to them. Maria doesnt frequent this club, so they don't know her, but she's Toreador. She blends. She seems to be one of them, and while they don't immediatly accept a stranger, they don't seem combative against ther presence. Jayde looks her up and down and nods. "Nice dress."

"God Damn him...this coitere isn't going to work right if we all keep breaking off from one another. I swear I'll pin his hide to a cross if he messes this up for us." He stands there looks around again and shouts, "Harold! If are out here hiding you better show youself or I'm going inside and spoiling all your hard work with those lovely ladies." Come to think of it, I am getting hungry. He kicks over a garbage can sending refuse and the lid flying with a rattling bang. He waits one minute and then turns and heads back inside giving a bouncer a drunken smile and showing his stamp.

Bard is so out of place he knows any attempt at getting any information would be a disaster. He just walks around idly, keeping away from those that actually might know something of interest. He does keep listening, maybe someone will say something important, but he doubts it. If there were a biker bar he might be in luck, or if he could just grab one of these kids and torture them, that might work. Otherwise, he's pretty much screwed, and simply must wait for the others to try to find something out.

Maria converses with the Ubergoths and discovers that Harold has already been here asking the same questions. She raises some suspicion as to why everyone's looking for this one girl, but gets no useful information out of the group, who decide to call it a night and leave.
Three day rule on Maria. The next time I have to do this, she's leaving the game.

Not hearing anything of interest, Bard makes his way out of the club, not saying anything to anyone. He looks around outside for anyone he knows, attempting to find out if anyone was able to get any information from the goths inside.

Heading toward the door, Duke bumps into Bard, litterally. He snarls at the figure, "What where you are going god damn it!" He then realizes that its one of his 'friends' and backs up, "Oh its you. Sorry dude." He changes his mind about going back in and motions toward the parking lot. "Unless you got anything useful from this place, I say we head home. Its not going to be night forever tonight. Harolds gone off and..." he lifts his voice in case Harold is around to hear, "...AND HIDDEN HIMSELF LIKE A RAT!" He glances from side to side, shifting his eyes but not his head. "Damn him. That's it I'm done here."

He flips open his cell and speed dials Leo, "Yeah I'm done. Come get me."

Chapter 1.1: Back at the Haven

Post by Bitom » Thu Nov 02, 2006 9:02 pm

Saturday, June 24 2006 02:23 AM

The ghoul is called and picks up the group, who return to the house that they share for meetings, and some use for a place to hide from the sun. Harold is still missing. The house feels empty, but the paranoia of working for the prince and all the political implications has everyone looking for spies. If they are there, they are well-hidden.

With four hours left till sunrise, the group enters the longest part of the night, when mortal establishments are all closed and there is nothing but supernatural activity happening.

Duke returns 'home' and searches the place, not once, but twice. "Wonderfull, where the hell is Harold, and where is the Orkan Man Foster at?" He ends up walking into the common area with the table and the dossier on it, placed there at some point. He sits and flips through it idly, "Well? Ideas anyone?"
