Chapter 1.2: The next night

The elders can't be stopped, but their inhumanity can't be accepted either. Moving to another city accopmplishes nothing, the situation is the same everywhere. Now the only hpe is to band together. As a group, maybe you and the other young ones can resist the political tides that threaten to erode that which makes you human.

Bard stands there, nearly emotionless. He is not used to this sort of life, and simply follows along. He turns, noticing Simon Muir, he being a Brujah himself, but says nothing. "Looks like we'll be waiting," he says, figuring they will be /way/ down the list as to who gets to see the Prince. He figures, in general, perhaps this little quest was not so important, though there is no doubt that something certainly is amiss with the girl and her whereabouts.

Hoookay, since nobody wants to respond to that...

About two hours later, the Masq files out without their prisonor, with an elysium ghoul following. The ghoul goes to the front desk and talks to the men there briefly, then returns and addresses Duke. "His Majesty will see you now."

Who is Duke Emerson? He's certainly not a neonate that wants to die the final death. So when the Brujah primogen and previous prince arrives Duke quietly sits to the side. He will stay with his coeterie, speaking in soft tones about possible options, plans for tomorrow night, and will fill in the others to anything might have missed throughout the night, Foster most likely is out of the loop the most being in a dog most of the night. He doesn't bother to speculate on what is going on with the Masq, cause frankly, as long as they leave him alone, he doesn't care.

Two hours later he nods to the paige, turns to the others collecting them if they have scattered about Elysium, "We are up. Lets go boys." He follows the paige to see the Prince.

Standing up from his long wait Harold follows the rest of the group in. The two hour wait probably doesn't help thier cause, since the girl may have been moved by now...but it will still be blamed on them most likely.

Bard stands, runs a hand through his beard, and walks along with the others for the elevator. He says nothing.

Foster watches all the goings on in the room. Through the reflections in the window he watches as the primogen of the brujah disappears then remerges. Who was that person they just took in there? His earlier years taught him that the best way to gather information is to simply watch and listen. And that is exactly what he does. That is until they are to be escorted to the prince. The nosferatu quickly places the scampering centipede into a pants pocket and quietly says now behave or else. Turning he walks towards the rest of his coeterie and joins them. quickly followed by the scent of some foriegn pastry.

The prince is stepping out of one conference room and primly closing the door as you make the turn in the hallway. Behind is the sound of people doing some heavy lifting and a creak that sounds as if it could be bedsprings if such a thing weren't rediculous in an elysium conference room. With a sweeping gesture, the prince motions you across the hall to one of the other conference rooms and then steps inside. This one is a perfect clone of the one you've met in before, as you would expect are the other two. All are soundproof, except for those very near the doors, and have white noise generators to dull recognizable sounds out. The Camarilla takes privacy very seriously.

The prince seats himself at the head of the table and motions you to seats before asking what you have for him.

Harold sits, and waits a moment for Duke to relay the information they have. He wouldn't call the Ventrue the leader of the group, but he makes a decent face to present to the outside world.

Bard is ready to add whatever is needed, such as details of the abandoned oil platform, coordinates, and the like. He holds his tablet PC in preperation for this task.

Duke bows to the Prince before taking a seat, "My Prince, we return to tell you our news and to ask for further intructions. You see, we have located the girl, so we believe. After some investigation into her friends and local hang out spots a few nice gentlemen were kind enough to tell us her exact location." He points at Bard and the PC, "She is located on a derilct oil rig off the coast of Florida...here." He points at the table's screen. "Oil drilling platform AQ1257 dash 4. Ran dry in '02 and abandoned, salvage rights claimed by Bargo enterprises July 2, 2003. We wanted to bring this to your attention, before we went calling on Bargo enterprises."
