Chapter end, what the hell?

Post by Bitom » Tue Feb 06, 2007 12:36 am

So,... you've done your job for the prince and told him what he wanted to know.

What that was, you aren't sure and he isn't telling.

What's going to happen to Vanessa, you aren't sure and he isn't telling.

All in all, you've been given a pat on the head, and don't know shit.

Being a neonate sucks.

Now the real question: do I give you XP and move on to the next day of the potential eternity that is your lives, or do we cap it here and go on to other games?

Why are you so obsessed with ending your games?

I'm kinda undecided. I really want to play in a vampire game, but I'm not sure this game is exactly down my alley either. I'd prefer a blend of action and story, action that advances the story is the best, of course.

This plotline left plenty of options for action, but the characters, by crafty manuvering and actually being intelligent, avoided every combat that I had set up for them.

I'm a bit overloaded right now, so I'll vote to end the game, with the promise that someone sometimes runs a Vampire game, even in the new system.

OK. I'm gonna close this game.

For your edification:

Bargo enterprises is owned and operated by Michael Bargo of Clan Tremere. One of Bargo's interests is his blood cult that he maintains as a herd and source of flunkies. His people recruited Vanessa during a bad breakup and she joined the cult. None of them had any idea of her connection to the Prince, which he had kept well secret.

Why has month had passed since she disappeared without anyone taking action? The prince is 600 years old... his sense of urgent timing is pretty shot. He has great difficulty telling the differance between a month and a couple of days.

The two anarchs that Harold met were cameo characters from a previous game, and would have tried to recruit you for the movement.

Duke's ghoul was killed by vampire hunters, who would have come after the rest of you eventually.

I hate to see a game of vampire end so abruptly. Though I plan on running a requiem game in a while. My home group are going to be my guinea pigs. Hope to see you soon.
