Vivec draws an odd dagger as the monkey Rhokti climbs down and shapechanges. For anyone not used to it, its an odd sight. The monkey grows taller and fatter (but not fat when he's done). The fur falls from his hands and face, but his cheeks remain round and rosy. His tail actually gets longer, and his armor and gear meld out from his fur to sit perfectly on his body. Pazi leaps from Sujata to Rhokti in his strange half man half monkey form with a Ooot. The Mantrika shakes his staff, rattling and drawing a scowl from Ghanji but when he's done a shimmering set of armor fades from view around him as the spell is cast.
Greater Mage Armor.
Toranoshi draws his kama, and slips to the flanks of the group so he can more easily slip around any foes. He does not have issues traveling through the swamp, and Vivec notices today that while everyone wades through the muck, or is slowed by the mud, Toranoshi is not. He moves as if none of the mud and swamp hindered his travels.

Sujata always has her vita out, used as a walking stick at times to plod through the mud, she draws up next to Shamad and nods that she is ready.
Let Azora act, then off we go.

Azora remains where he is, watching as listening as the rest of the group begins to move about in preparation in response to Ghanji's statement.

The End

Ghanji looks to everyone, they are as ready as they are going to get as the Shikari doesn't wait for long. He then points at the wet ground and starts to lead the group forward, in a slightly southeast direction. You quickly realize that the tracks through the swamp aren't that hard to find and Ghanji points them out now and then and you keep up on what's going on. He holds up his fingers, 10+1, then points at his feet. Again he holds up his fingers, 2, then makes a wavy motion with his hand. He points forward and starts to move and then slows as the branches and jungle start to thin. You all start to line up along a forest line as Ghanji waves you forward into the broken thorns and brush that chokes the area among the slimy swamp.

Up ahead you catch the glimps of movement, a chain of prisoners, human and others that appear like Rhokti but slightly different, in chains being pushed forward by yuan-ti. The prisoners, numbering seven, are mud covered, exhausted and of all different appearances. They are chained together, as well as having their hands and ankles chained. Around them are six yuan-ti, four Purebloods dressed in thick hide like armors with helms the shape of giant snake heads (See OOC Image Thread). Slithering along side are two Half Bloods, the creatures have the lower bodies of large green serpents, and the upper half of men. The slave train is moving quickly eastwards.

A glance reveals that the swamp is giving way to a hill. A hill that rises up out of the water and mud. The slaves are just hitting dry ground and the slavers push them into a trot. They are heading toward a set of stone walls that rise up in steps carved onto the mountains. Towers, and other structures rise up from the walls or from behind the walls. A cleft is carved into the side of the hill at a narrowing depth the higher you go up the steps, causeing each wall to be shorter than the one before it on the lower level. This gives the appearance of a ziggurat from both a birds eye view and from your view. The motion of guards on the walls can be seen in the distance. You are still fifty yards away, through heavy mud and muck, and have little hope to intercept the slavers now that they hit dry ground.

This is the first of many fortresses built on the edge of Mahanaga, finally, you have reached the ancient capital of the Seven Kingdoms.
Congrats! Here ends Chapter 6! Only 60 pages this time! I will be giving out XP shortly, and opening Chapter 7! Watch for its opening as well as a map of the lay out and design of the old fort. Woohoo. Nice work all.
