Azora looks up and around at the room, a splot of drool marring the surface of his armor. Still, the skull pool writhes in front of him.

His mind begins to fight the affects of the previous confusion, but he still appears to be slightly under them. He hacks down into the pool waters again, splashing himself with some of the water.

Downstairs...

Azora has come out of the confusion, but he continues to beat on the skulls. His obsdian blade connects with yet another skull shattering it in an explotion of water. Only four skulls remain in the pool, one of them leaping to attack his ankle but he side steps the attack.
Att 17 Hit, 19 DMG, DEAD

Skull Attack: 9 Miss
Toranoshi vanishes and creeps down the stairs as fast as he can, as he reaches the bottom of the steps he can see among the green glowing light Azora at the far south pool all wet hacking at the skulls that bob and float on the surface, he can hear the chattering of the skulls in the room, but they are not yet strong enough to overcome him, certainly moving closer to them might make the power of the noise more effective. The power of Toranoshi's Ki fades as well, only lasting a short while..

Shamad waits, "Hurry up," he says, but not in an aggitated way. He looks somewhat weary, as he should be, for this place has been a terrifyingly dangerous experience.

He looks of at Ghanji, "What happened down there? It did not look like you made it safely away with your spoils."

Nakan looks up after he crushes and re-kills the ape. His eyes light up as the chattering finnaly stops.
"Ah! This one was the one!" he looks around as the action comes to it's usuall sudden halt. A terror shakes him, as he realizes what he did in the grasp of the spell.
"By the Deva's! What have i done!" Then the normally stoic muni sprints for the exit without an explination. though he steers away from the great bear.

Toranoshi places his back against the wall as he reaches the entrance of the room downstairs, He sighs slightly and the inhales deeply.

...I must be mad...and what is that sound?

He sticks his head out through the exit and spies of the room, though as he sees Azora hacking his sword at the pool, and something that lies within.

"What the?" comes from Toranoshi as he steps through the doorway, though does not walk further into the room. He stares upon Azora with amazement and then raises his voice, "Azora! What is going on?!"

As Nakan leaves the chamber Trishna gives the Muni a low growel, puasing in its wy to Kalyani. The black bear watches the Muni with an angry eye but lets the man pass. Moving to Kalyani the bear leands its shoulder to the Brahminess who leans heavy on the bear. Her face is black and blue now, both eyes swelling up as blood trickles from her nose. She looks terrible, like she was kicked in the face (because she was). "I shall be at the camp." She manages to squeek out and her and Trishna begin the climb of the stairs up to the top of the ziggurat not too far behind Nakan.

Ghanji, holding his wounds limps to Shamad, "I do not know what happened..." A scowl plays over his face as he comes up to Shamad and rests a heavy hand on him, helping to support himself. He seems torn between several things to say, and finally lets out a sigh, "That Baladhara lost control...this is his wound I bare." Ghanji motions to the huge sword wund down his chest that is spilling out blood. "I must rest, I must get out of here. You must see to us Shamad, whatever is happening, you seem the least effected by it." He limps off toward the exit stair well, "Come Rhokti, lets leave this cursed place." The Shikari moves up the stairs, seeking the hengeyoki's shoulder to help him up the many steps.

Down below Azora hacks into the skulls, but the voice of Toranoshi is clearly heard as he calls out...

Those exiting will reach the top of the ziggurat in not much time to find that the day has turned sour. Clouds cover the sky, and rain pours down on the stone surface of the ziggurat. It does much to wash away the blood and gore there, but in places there are crimson puddles, and strange black pools of ichor. The trip back to the camp will be difficult for the wounded as the mud and muck of the jungle clearing slows movement. The rope bridge over the river is slick, and takes much concentration for the wounded. Jamala Prasad, the young Shikari that has been watching the camp will come to help those he spys on the bridge back to camp.
Please make poses if you are leaving the ziggurat for the camp, just so I'm clear. Thanks.

Allowing Ghanji to steady himself upon his shoulder, Rhokti helps support the man as they make their way out of the cursed ziggurat.

"Come, friend Ghanji. There will be fruit and sunlight away from this place. And possibly plants that will not try to eat us."

Not exactly knowing what to do, what to say, or how to proceed, the monkey simply allows Ghanji to guide the two of them back to the campsite.

Shamad curses, "What are you all doing!?!" He sneers at everyone leaving, "We shall not leave until Azora is out of there." Shamad has heard Ghanji's words, but does not put much faith in them, other than the actions that took place are true.

"There are foul magics at work here. Azora would never turn on one of his own without being made to do so."

He turns and walks down the stairs to see what is going on, "Quit resigning yourself to flight when we have not finished out task!"

Azora hears the call of the man from the stairs to the room. He turns towards the entrance, the crazed look vanishing from his face.

"Toranoshi!" He begins to move away from the edge of the pool. "Their... chattering. Drives one mad! Do not enter this room!"

He takes a deep breath, flexing his muscles. All of that extremely hard swinging has taken a toll on him, not to mention the Tulwar wounds that cover his body.

"I have managed to overcome the effects of their curse. I do not know if it is fled for everyone or not though."
OOC: Was the pool I was at the one that has the Choora in it?
He almost absent-mindedly swipes his sword down into the pool. Not a whole lot of his attention is on the attack as he is still facing Tora. Because of this, his standard two-handed attack is not possible.

Azora's nonchalant backhanded one handed attack is so out of character that its just crazy enough to work. As he shouts to Toranoshi he sweeps his blade down somewhat behind him at the pool. The sword connects again and shatters another skull into bits and pieces.
Att: 27 Hit for 12 Dmg, DEAD. 3 Skulls remain in pool
However what is good for the monkey is good for the mongoose, or so the saying goes. Azora remains close enought to attack, and the skulls counter bobing on the choppy water it bounces up and chomps at Azora, but just doesn't have the reach to hit.
