Chapter One: The Life of a Slave

Enter the world of Athas, where survival is all that matters - a wasteland destroyed by magic and stagnated with frightening beasts and corruption. A world where Law is on the side of evil, and Chaos for the forces of good. Gaziijja hesitates, clearly not willing to call the shots in what may be the most important fight of his life to date. And so it falls to the half-giant Pavek to make the next move.

Pavek, realizing that the group is following him, moves towards the group to the northeast of them. When he arrives near enough to strike with his massive, ham like fists, he does so.
Move NW, NW, N, N, N and attack H2d.
Thanks Wulf for pointing my directions error. I have been getting East and West mixed up on my posts lately.

Pavek's Movement

Shouldn't Pavek's move actions be NW, NW, N, N, N and then another N? If I did my math correct H2d is just outside of his 10 ft. reach if indeed he meant NW instead of NE to close to H2d.
Your current edit still puts you out of melee range bubba. Perhaps NW, N, N, N, N and then attack H2d - him being just inside the diagonal of your 10 ft. range?

Eanwulf is right, you can't move 30 and get him with your current move. Thankfully you have a 40 move, so it's no big deal for you to go NW NW N N N N.

Also, since Gazziija has delayed, I've swapped his and Pavek's initiatives.

Taking Balderac's advice, Pavek decides to avoid both of the groups containing a half-giant. Instead he barrels north to attack a group who now has no hope remaining. Caught between three groups of fighters, they have little chance.

Stopping still out of reach of the general melee, Pavek swipes at the nearest human who even now is engaged with the group of elves, some of whom have recently been so much trouble. As he swings, Pavek can't help but notice that the man doesn't seem to have a scratch on him '€" though that doesn't last long.

The half-giant's fist connects solidly with the man's chest, slamming him sideways and almost knocking him down. With a single swipe, Pavek may well have turned the tide of this battle.
Move/Attack '€" rolled: 24 (hit) '€" 13 damage
Spot Check '€" rolled: 16 (success) '€" notice that he's uninjured.
Balderac, still badly injured, must now decide how to proceed.

Slipping in front of Balderac, Gazziija dashes forward to hide in the shadow of Pavek. Aware that he's no real combatant, the aarakocra simply does what he can to discourage others from attacking him.
Gazziija: Move/Total Defense (Since Gazziija isn't attacking, he should do Total Defense rather than Fight Defensively.)
As the birdman takes his place behind the half-giant, Balderac springs to action.

Balderac moves with the others too, "Alright, stay together, watch your flank. Fight fair, and fight strong, we only have to finish off a few more and we will be safe." He is too week to do much good so he moves like the bird man, defensive, but ready.
Move: NW<NW<NW. Ready Att against first one to come in reach. Fighting Defensively if so.

Balderac continues the cautious advance of the group, taking a position behind Gazziija. He knows that this kind of tactic is the smartest one to take with respect to the other slaves. But he, like everyone else in the pit, knows that they aren't the only danger. He knows that should the guards think that they are malingering, they might pull them out of the fight, even though they remained upright. As dangerous as the situation might be, it called for action as much as caution.
Balderac: Move/ready to fight defensively
Horth, relatively uninjured and truly in his element in this fight, moves next.

Horth pushes forward with the rest of the group, charging up beside Gaziija, and slightly behind pavek, he readies himself to defend the right flank of the group.
move up to just E of Gaz, Ready an attack to the first enemy to come into reach, should be move/ready.
