"Lord!" one viking shouts standing next to Gusi, and then begins to point in a western direction, "You must go! To the west of here there is a village, seek help there! We shall hold the giants at bay until you return with help!"
The other warriors standing on the cliff are gathering up what rocks they can find and has begun to hurl them down the path at the giants who await their chance to face off with the two warriors who are still amazingly enough holding the pathway leading up the cliff.

Gusi nods to the men, "I will go but first..." he trails off as he removes his holy symbol, raising it high into the air from around his neck.
"Thor! Lord of Storms! Grant these noble vikings your blessing and strength and watch over them while I, your eyes am unable to see them! Embolden their resolve and keep them strong!"
Gusi then turns and moves at his best pace to the west.

Gusi's chest swell up as he once again breaks into performance, blessing the vikings that are gathered around him. Once he silences the men cheer and continue their job of throwing stones down the cliff.
Gusi meanwhile jogs off in a western direction. Behind him there are screams and cheers but slowly the sound dies away as he runs further and further. Above him the sky goes black as the sun settles beneath the horizon. A cruel biting wind builds up and pushed Gusi forward, and with it comes a wall of rain that almost falls in a diagonal fashion. He is not aware of how long he has been running or how far, but as he reaches a hill he sees glittering lights up ahead of what can only be a village.

Gusi spots the town and redoubles his efforts rushing down into the town. THe rain means little to him. long have been the days that he has spent in even the cruelest storm. Having little idea of how long he has been in the storms grip nearly wild-eyed in religious fever he starts shouting as he enters town.
"Ragnorak has come! The Giants have Landed! Hear me viking men! To Arms!"

Gusi slides and trips in the muck that is the road of the village. His vocie is almost drowned by the sound of the howling wind and the rain that pours down upon the roofs. From one building, the hole in the ceiling allows a large plume of smoke to rise up and from inside there is faint sounds of laughter. Outside the door there hangs a sign "The Stag".
It's not far away, and there seems to be people inside, and only Gusi outside in the rain.

Gusi tries aparently in vain to keep himself free of the muck that is covering him. He pushes on in the storm towards the sound of laughter. The slick road and driving rain make it difficult.
He opens the door and beholds...
